And say your mother or father lost their home in 1948 when Jordanian soldiers raided and claimed what is now the west bank as Jordanian territory. You know when the people of the west bank became Jordanian, not "Palestinian". So then if you file with a lawyer to reclaim that, the court looks at the case and make a judgement of ownership. Until a majority of people are convinced otherwise, this won't change. "Over Voting"? you have to advocate and convince people your positions before you go crying. On housing costs, democracy is working just fine. Most voters to local and county seats are done by homeowners, and they do not want lots of new housing watering down the value of there properties via supply and demand. Instead they want exclusionary housing of only single family detached houses on large lots, they don't give a shit about new starter homes. Voter turnout is very small locally, but people like you not voting local means politicians addressing your concerns will lose. On inflation, it's driven by a worldwide supply chain shock and will take several years for markets to adjust. The government doesn't have a magic wand to wave and the private sector screwed up their early response to the pandemic, and never made preparations with a resilient supply chain in case of worldwide shocks. Between Ww1 and WW2, every time Jews would buy land or immigrate, the fundamentalist Islamist portion of the Arab Muslims in the region would burn Jewish settlements and massacre children and women. The British who had been supporting the Palys the entire time. And it should be mentioned they basically wanted to do the same to Arab non Muslim ethnic minorities like the Druze. Can you make this up. An Israeli guy just bought the house next to me in Ohio. Hired me to do some work on the property, then started saying I was "ripping him off" charging $15hr for hard labor attempting to g3et it for $10. He then harassed me every day by phone and in person to sell our home to him. He even tried making reports to building dept. The problem with saying these things at all is that when you say "I support Ukraine" or "I support Palestine" you're not really supporting anybody, saying these things doesn't effect the people suffering at all. The people who say these things, which is basically everyone on social media, aren't going out of their way to send help or do anything with themselves to end conflict at all. It is an imagined action towards a problem you cannot be a solution in, so since people who say this are generally disinterested, that at least through tragedy the media depicts of these conflicts do these kind of people have the slight bit of care to say these useless sayings.
