When we finished playing my dad took me to the bar for a coke and just as we walked in, a drunk and abusive guy was being thrown out. It was my History teacher. I had History the following morning. I asked him why he got thrown out of the Snooker hall last night. If looks could kill......

Now come on King Boomer. The woman did not make a noise like a deranged turkey when Jen dropped the coin in her cup of coffee. She said "what the hell did you do that for?" I would recommend next, in order 1. Garth Meranghis Darkplace - It stars Richard Aoyade and Matt Berry, it's short (6 epissodes), extremely surreal and very funny. 2. Black Books - Graham Linehan co-created it with Dylan Moran (lead actor) and was one of the writers (1st season). Great writing, amazing cast and fantastic cameos from many funny comedians of the time 3. The Mighty Boosh - Strap in and come with us on now on a journey, through time and space ....

I've seen this episode multiple times and have only just realised that Jen and Roy's mockery of Moss' boardgame show is a self-mockery of The IT Crowd as a show itself. The IT Crowd had been off the air for three years when this final episode came about, so the three months since Moss' last Game Board episode seem to represent this time passing. Jen saying, "I feel like it's just happened," seems like a reference to how the actors probably felt upon returning -- the shock of three years passing since their last series. I don't know if this has been confirmed anywhere by the writers but it must be the case because they make such a point of including this conversation!

These IT Crowd reactions have been great. I'd echo some of the other comments - it'd be great to see you react to Black Books. Green Wing is fantastic too.

I'd recommend The Day Today and then Brasseye. I'd think you'd lose your minds. Both Chris Morris led shows (he plays Denholm Renholm).

The greatest British comedy, which is such a high benchmark, is without a doubt "Only Fools And Horses". You'll fall in love with the characters.
