Amethyst VS Salina | RIGGED or FAIR?

I totally think Salina was still the winner of the lipsync, but I think the lipsync was rigged too. They were ready to send Amethyst home. My personal theory is that after snatch game they realized she could actually do pretty well in the competition, but they didn’t have plans to keep her or any real storyline and wanted to make sure there was no mistaking their decision in the edit. So what I think happened is she actually turned the lipsync out, probably not better than Salina but maybe about as good. And they didn’t want to put the placements in question so they just made sure the edit was clear. But obviously it could just be that she didn’t really turn it and they just wanted to edit it to make Salina’s lipsync more of a blowout. Either way it was super fun to watch

I thought this was the most entertaining lipsynch we’ve had so far even though it was rigged in Salina’s favor. Salina’s “sloppy” cartwheel and Amethyst’s white girl twerk were both iconic and I’m sad that Amethyst got sent home. I already miss her a lot.

Tbh when I saw Salina crying in her confessional I thought she was going home. I love both queens anda wish neither went home. This season is going pretty smooth with the elimination. We still have 11 episodes left, right? And we have 11 queens... Well, can't wait till Sunday for the next Stream! Thanks for your work dear

They definitely wanted to hide Amethyst - which makes sense. This was her 3rd time in the Bottom 2 in only the 4th elimination. She may have done well enough to rival or even beat Salina - but we don't even know if that's true because maybe they just wanted to not leave any doubt or discussion. Either way, Salina definitely did kill it, rigged in her favour or no.

i felt like amethyst was rly entertaining and relatable as a character despite not being given much positive attention by the judges or editing. It’s really telling to see the editing in the lipsync be so skewed against her. especially after it felt like she’d been getting ignored or unfairly criticized all season. Selina definitely didn’t have a bad lipsync but the way that the edit ignores amesthyst was frustrating. im not heated, you’re heated >:3

It's harder this season because the episodes are so short, the lip syncs probably are too? You could always look up the songs and get their actual run time for some more data too. (Granted there may be times production uses an edit or special version)
