Honestly, I think this is a bit overblown. *IF* Kawhi is healthy, the Clippers shouldn't really be worried. Yes the Mavs are dangerous but they're dangerous for any team. And Paul George isn't gonna leave. He's in his hometown LA, and Ballmer would throw the bank at him to keep him for the new arena. We'll have to see what happens in the playoffs.
@maxmeier5326 ай бұрын
I have said it here before, Kawhi is a player we all want to see all the time, BUT his knee has been shot since years ago and personally I never believed the story that it's all good now. His health has and always will be an issue. If he and we get lucky, he'll have a stretch of a few weeks in a row that he can play on a high level. But I find that to be highly improbable. Its because Harden can only play when the calls are soft. He would never have been a super star in any other era. Its why he comes up short in playoffs too because they call less fouls. He shoots these shots that he isn't actually trying to make expecting the foul.
@albaestrada86036 ай бұрын
Plenty of stars lived off of high percentage of free throw attempts in any era lol like Elgin Baylor shot like 41% but got to the free throw line alot, allen Iverson is a much lesser player without his all time free throw rate, Westbrook prime same thing, Gilbert arenas drops off significantly as well, Dwayne wade, Moses malone drops off big time if he does t get his calls, dwight howard isn't an elite scorer if he wasn't getting like 10 free throw attempts per game. I'm sure I'm missing some more.

We saw what the Clippers did last season with Kawhi, Westbrook and Powell step up massively for the team and they matched pretty well against the Sun's, all I need is for James to be just a playmaker and get the big man's especially Zubac some touches around the rim, PJ Tucker is going to be a hound on defense. My only issue with the Team is how they tread Bones this season, he has the same potential to be a Jordan Poole during GSW title run or the Brown kid from the Nuggets, someone who can create his own shot and drop 15 pts, for some reason Ty Lue dropped has him on the dog house.

People swear up & down this is a Super Team. Kawhi doesn’t want it always has issues. Westbrook is near retirement. Harden is inconsistent, can’t lead team and up there in age. Paul George has career of injuries. I don’t see Super Team. Nuggets are still team to beat in West no matter the standings & hype
