I worked as a customer service representative (CSR) before for Spectrum which is usa's one of many internet service providers so I can actually relate to this. I'm not from america and english isn't my first language either but I can understand english just fine and speak english in an accent that americans are comfortable with. The problem here is not towards the customers nor the customer service representatives but towards the company and how they train us. Just like any other job, we have a lot of things to learn about the internet provider of a country we're not even in, how they process bills and payment, which devices are used in which customer, and how different their service works in comparison to our country's.. So imagine us, barely trained, uninformed, and others, non-tech savvy tied to phones taking calls after learning basically nothing useful in the training but jsut how to operate the software we use to access some information about the caller.. This routine is what our training results to. What I find really funny here is that the CSR amir was impersonating is like the countless CSRs I've seen who's got down the habit, but cannot do their job right. I can just show you guys a call recording of one of my co-workers and this routine is what it would sound like minus the accent.
