I found the Amish Chicken recipe online yesterday. Picked up the chicken and some egg noodles today to make Amish Chicken over noodles (almost went for rice) for dinner this evening. I was curious to see how this recipe turns out and was glad to find your video just now. I think it's the only one on KZbin for this particular recipe. Looks great! Thank you.

I remember eating this when I was a kid..before everyone started using canned Cream soup in casseroles. This is much tastier without additives, and the gravy is the bomb. Thanks for sharing the video!

You know what helps. When I make chicken gumbo. I cover it with foil the first hour. Then remove it for the balance of the time. That makes a light brown tint. I have never breaded chicken like you just did. So not sure if it would work. Glad you liked it.

should have just fried it!!!. Anything breaded requires frying or extreme heat in oven (without onions on the bottom) for crust to develop fully.
