I live in Ohio and we have a little town here called Amish county and my family use to go there every year for thanksgiving and I would have this pie. That was over twenty years ago and I have been looking for this pie for so long and have not been able to find it until now! You are an angel!!!! I’m so happy you came across my page!!! This looks wonderful! My dad's grandparents left the Amish church, but Dad grew up around the Amish community with family & friends. Peanut butter pie was one of his favorites. It's one of mine too.When his sister would visit she's always bring a peanut butter pie from the Amis bakery. I've been on the look out for a good peanut butter pie recipe. This one looks the best!

You have to try Celtic Sea Salt!! The flavour of it is sooo good in baked goods! It also has 2 magnesium molecules in it and a pinch in a big glass of water is way better than Gaterade for rehydrating in summer!

Gatorade also has other benefits, including electrolytes, which surpass sodium laced water for hydration and replenishment in the hot weather. Sodium replacement is necessary, but sodium can dehydrate, so there has to be more involved than saltwater to rehydrate someone.

I saw your short on this. My grandma made peanut butter pie like this with the crumble on top and bottom. I never saw anyone else make a peanut butter pie like this. It was really good.

it's true, store-bought whipped cream is no substitute for the fresh kind. you can use an electric whisk to make it and it's even better than doing it manualy though 😁

Yes, in most cases it is best to make your own. However, store purchased can be an asset if you need a stabilized product.

I always knew it was better but was amazed at how long it lasts too. After getting some to-go pancakes at a local restaurant, I expected the homemade whipped cream to be moldy and bad when I found the cup full pushed to the back of my fridge over a week later. But no…it was still good and just as tasty.

While the demonstration is lovely, and I appreciate the post to link the book, without being able to try the recipe you’ve demonstrated here… I don’t know if the book is worth purchasing. Most people provide the recipes they’re demonstrating for people to ‘sample’ when they’re promoting a product. Too many cookbooks exist with questionable or unremarkable contents, which is why samples help us find out if the book is actually worth purchasing or not. Your demonstration looks lovely, but I won’t purchase a book until I’ve sampled a few things to know if it’s worth the investment or not. 😊 (I collect cookbooks, so only the ones that are remarkable are purchased these days).
