Made it and it was DELISH! Used crock pot, but followed other instructions near exact. Meaning found an open bottle of Merlot of top of the refrigerator and added a quarter cup. Talk about a flavor boost, wow. And served over extra wide noodles just like you did. Have watched many of your videos and those on some of the cooking channels too. Difference is your videos use everyday food so you don't have to buy specialty items and spend $40 to create a single meal!! Keep it going !

I love when you talk about flavors that enhance others or give information about herbs. I never thought about it but marjoram IS a lighter flavor than oregano but along the same line (profile?), so thanks for putting that into words. This dish looks delicious. I have a stovetop pressure cooker (a Kuhn-Rikon) and the user guide just says to base cooking time on how many pounds of meat you have, which I have always done with success. For those of you with PCs out there, consult your user guide based on what you're putting in your cooker -- they are all different!

I don't have an electric or stove top pressure cooker. But I do have a huge pressure canner. When I find roast on sale, or anything for that matter I can it up. I just did carrots this week. I make a version of this with my home canned meat and home canned mushrooms. It is fab!! It's fast good my way.
@NoreensKitchenOfficial9 жыл бұрын
+Brenda “GrannyToo” Collins Unless your pressure canner also indicates it is a pressure cooker, then you cannot use this recipe to cook it. I would suggest that you use a slow cooker to make this.

I see you got a new pressure cooker. That is the same one that my parents got me for Christmas. This is going to be great I just put a chuck roast in the frig to defrost for dinner tomorrow so this is going to be what I'm going to make. I just love your recipes. I think I have tried every one. Some I had to cut in half, but they all were great. And I say that because I have a very picky 18 year old daughter who never likes anything, but all most all your recipes she will eat. Please keep up the great work Noreen.

love love love pressure cooking THANKS FOR SHARING* just a little tip to try adding some red wine as part of your extra water added, :) also like adding a little spicy mustard. I WILL DEF. BE TRYING YOUR RECIPE , YUMMY****"
@NoreensKitchenOfficial9 жыл бұрын
We don't care for wine at all. Especially red wine. Rick and I really do t like wine in our food. So that is why you wont ever see me add wine to a recipe. Bourbon maybe but never wine. As for mustard I like the pure simplicity of this but in somethings yes it is lovely.
@kathyjotourtois9 жыл бұрын
+Cheryl Sigler i just love all noreens recipes . but i do add wines to many of her recipes as i cook often with wine but never drink it . but i do always try her recipes her way first and many times i do not add wine but many times i do depends how i feel that day . sounds strange i know , lolol . have a great day .

This is absolutely delicious! I have a stove top pressure cooker/canner. How long do I need to cook this for that type of cooker? Thanks, Noreen.
@patriciapflum68987 жыл бұрын
After your cooker is up to pressure, cook 12 minutes at 15 lbs psi and allow the pressure to drop naturally after removing the cooker from the heat. It should take less time than an electric pressure cooker does. My stove top unit gets up to pressure in about 5 to 7 minutes on high, then I reduce the temperature to med-low and start timing. If your pressure cooker only goes up to 10 lbs psi, increase the cooking time by one-third.
