That 1st story. The fact that the parents are letting the kids be in their own room, and have no eye on them.. that's just insane
@pauljs75
@pauljs75 Жыл бұрын
If they're pre-teens or older they should be able to handle themselves properly, provided they were raised properly. You've got the TV, likely a portable or rented gaming system, and should have brought some books to read, or playing cards, or something like a note or sketchbook. It's easy to stay entertained or otherwise preoccupied in a non-destructive manner. Maybe one or two parental checks just to see how things are going is all that is really needed. Sounds like the kids have been neglected for years or have some other behavior issues to cause this kind of damage.

Being in a family where my grandma forced my mom to use the name she picked, I hate it. I haven’t used my birth name in close to 10+ years and only never changed it due to threats of being disinherited, which SURPRISED was still disinherited for a complete different reason. Just haven’t gotten around to legally changing it cause the pandemic hit and was told by the court that filing name change wasn’t a priority lol. By the end of this year tho I plan to change it legally. It’s funny too cause I was told all my life as a child it’s illegal for me to change my name yet my grandma changed her name many years ago, fucking hate religious names. In return tho, since my grandma’s passing I’ve only referred to her birth name and not what she changed it to

My DIL was expecting my 3rd grandchild. We of course felt free to make suggestions 🤣 We had come up with sharing my late fathers middle name and for baby’s first name to use the middle name of the great grandfather that the baby’s Dad shared a first name with. I came up with a variation- the great grandfather was called Grampy Pete (last name was Peterson) So I thought Peter with my Dad’s middle name. Called Son and he laughed at me !! “Congratulations Mom you broke the code” I had guessed the name they had chosen.

I missed the first half of it, so when she started talking about when she would ask him to do the dishes and he would essentially throw a fit, I thought she was talking about a 10 yo boy. Not her bf…. When he does that, flip it on him and say I can’t believe your such a child that you want to throw a fit like a baby over doing simple house work. I didn’t realize you were looking for another mom when I was looking for a partner. When you do that, it really diminishes the way I look at you, I don’t see a partner I see a child that I have to care for and I don’t like it, it really upsets me.

The last story: It's a safe bet that the boyfriend is a narcissist, more accurately, a covert narcissist. They're particularly dangerous because they know how to weaponize their emotions by playing the victim/charity case or turning into a total raging butthole when they don't get their way. There is really no in between. OP would be wise to cut contact completely and move on. She doesn't need someone who's going to gaslight her, emotionally manipulate, blame shift, finger point, project and make her feel bad for having her own opinions or laying down boundaries with him.

@AetheralMeowstic it is automatically charged. The only road they could have taken is to take the parents to court over the added cost their children caused, of course if they went that route they would be wise to include time lost and court costs. This would be after demanding the parents reimburse them for said cost.

He is now in jail, and I am the one who detained him. See, in my state its a level 3 state with powers of duties of a security guard. Meaning, "While in the performance of their duties, such security guards shall have the same powers of arrest and the same powers to enforce law and order as the sheriff of the county and the chief of police of the municipality in this state in which any such security guards are performing their duties." -This is taken directly out of my states law.

The next time I saw an attendant for the play room, I told them they MIGHT wanna take the whole area apart (Velcro panels) and disinfect EVERYTHING. The amount of dirt and dust those brats brought into a place for babies, smh. FYI, this wasn’t the ONLY thing this particular group of twerps did that caused problems. That crybaby boyfriend deserves for his girlfriend to call him a manchild. Why she wants to stay with him is beyond me.

The OP in the last story needs to give the boyfriend an ultimatum that if he cries to get his way she will break up with him. It is absolutely emotional abuse. She needs to know she is being abused.

Sports team parents are the absolute WORST! I worked in a hotel for years and dealt with exactly this behavior all the time.

For the crying boyfriend I would either assume manipulation. Or tell him he needs to get help (like therapy) or we need to end the relationship.

It’s honestly disturbing the way people can leverage situations in the US by claiming to be FBI, or a Judge, or just rich and connected in general. It’s not like that in other civilised countries.

As a person who was taught when I was little to be respectful to people if I heard kids running and heard glass shadder in the hallway and I knew we was on a higher floor like let’s say I was staying a Hilton hotel for my future job and it’s a high end hotel and If I know I’m on like the 7th or 8th floor imma stick my head outta the door bc I hear glass I think the worst my dad is over protective over my little sister so If I hear a little girl imma be like fuck what happened I need to protect this girl but I ain’t leaving the room imma just say are y’all okay the only way you’ll be able to identify me is if I had on my work badge bc I’ll be in business casual clothes khaki pants a polo shirt and dress Chelsea boots
