As a DJ and a record collector with decades of exploring music and sharing that music, be it to friends or a crowd, those were fine choices good sir. Music feeds the soul, the soul feeds love, love feeds us all. Respect peace and big love to you!

This vid shows how humble and kind Michael is. Not only is he a hugely gifted singer/songwriter, he is also an absolute gentleman. He pronounces the Italian titles and names perfectly, but makes an apology for his supposedly "bad" pronunciation. Nice touch of class, man.

I am 54 years old and genuinely learn about a new artist on practically every episode of WIMB. In this instance it was Karen Dalton - Thanks Michael!

Michael's new album "Small Changes" is my favorite album of the year. I'm so delighted that Amoeba Music featured his visit to their Hollywood store. His picks, while unexpected, are choice! Thank you Amoeba and Michael Kiwanuka for making my day.

When I heard the live session version of Cold Little Heart, I knew Mr. Kiwanuka was a marvel. From what I can gather, he is EXACTLY the kind of musician I love most. Humble, profoundly gifted, educated in his discipline and well-versed in its history, his contemporaries and predecessors, and he seems to inspire a lot of loyalty which, I think, speaks to his integrity and character.

Archie Shepp had to pay the bills and made money with dinner jazz. He should be up there with Ornette Coleman IMO, but he doesn’t have the consistent body of work. In the words of John Zorn: “Jazz Snobs Eat S***”.
@pedrorocha97225 күн бұрын
Karen Dalton really put hundreds of young girls trying to sound like her and making the workd a little bit less bearable in the process.

Man he makes boring overrated music. Like The Lighthouse Family level of boring. Big snore.
