oh man...being an original metal head from the 80's, who is STILL a metal head, this made my day/year!! Saxon is a seminal band in the NWOBHM for sure....and how completely fitting that Amon Amarth shows respect for what Saxon did for metal with this collab!!! This could not have been more perfect!! The clean singer Biff Byford, is over 70 years old and still sounds amazing! They have a similar song from the album Jomsviking called "A Dream That Cannot Be" that features Doro.

Saw them at Time to Rock festival here in Sweden this summer, and they kicked ass. Saxon is one hell of a live band.

Saxon is by far one the best bands from new wave of British heavy metal. They've made some killer albums in the 90s and 2000s. There is on KZbin their latest gig from the wacken 2022, I highly recommend it!
