Thanks for being so generous! I even thought about giving away the V280 or the Burson but US law says that any prize over $600 requires tax documentation and I didn't want to fool with that 😅 Also- I see a V550 in my future too!

So you're the dude that posted that on reddit...lol That's an insane # of amps! Looking forward to the comparisons! Btw, love my Soloist it's great 👌 Oh, and what are you using those sound panels for? For acoustics or aesthetics? I'm asking because I think we have the same ones and I intended to use them for room treatment, but just wanted to warn you not to spend any more on those...they're a waste of money and don't contribute to treatment at all! You need actual depth for any kind of room treatment...anyway, just letting you know this cause it irks me when people waste money on products like that and weren't aware like I was.

Yea the panels aren't treating the sound as much as I thought they would but they did stop some of the annoying echo in here. Without them there was so much reverb I couldn't even do a conference call in this room. I know they are better panels out there but they are either more expensive or I didn't like the look. I thought about getting a wall tapestry with artwork on it for the other side of the room. Have you seen those? Thanks for the kind words btw!

@@MidFiGuy I've seen some art acoustic panels if that's what you mean...tho they're more expensive than getting regular panels. Cool, as long as you are aware...I didn't want you to waste money on those like I did! If you decide to get some panels, make sure they're at least 6in deep. I got some actual panels and my gosh it's like getting a completely different set of speakers! Even treating just your side reflections makes a HUGE difference. On a side note, I love how you just pop out a video out of nowhere and it has like every amp everyone has been asking about. Looking forward to it!

Just saying for next time it would be interesting content for us fellow headfiers to see some of the event. Maybe event get some shots of the gear they brought and then for your shootout you could get some random takes on what others thought of the gear. Keep on keepin on!

wow! u had a lot of good stuff👍🏼 Think I may need your advise. Currently I’m looking for a best combo for quad era-1 headphone . I’m hoping to pair it with tubes amp(I see you have cayin ha-6a, mizu and woo).However, I dont want to sacrifice bass thumpiness that can get from SS ( Audio Gd, Topping and etc). My music listening towards rock, hard rock, vocals and orchestra and would like to get a sense “you are there” kind of experience while having best soundstage, holographic and bass. May I know what is your recommendation upon of all amp do you used or currently have? Note: Oh btw, I dont use EQ and am not kind of technical/DIY guy . Thanks in Advance

For one of your next reviews, I would love it if you were to use some of the better Dacs as preamp‘s from your TV. Let me explain: a lot of people don’t have enough room and some of them would love to know how they could use a preamp in conjunction with a power amp straight out of the TV with an optical cable. This would require the preamp/dac to be able to supply enough voltage to the power amp as well as be controlled via remote control. You could title that video something like “best Dac/preamp to use with your TV for every day living”. Lemme know your thoughts 💭
