Amphicar. The car that swims !

I have looked after the Amphicar for 20 years!
During that time I have done many repairs including replacing the engine, rebuild of the brakes and suspension . Upgrade of the windshield wiper motor to a more robust design.
An extensive restoration of the bodywork and let’s not forget general servicing.
This has involved plenty of road testing but I have never seen it in the water let alone been in it for a swim ! Well I was extremely pleased to get an invite to join the owners on the water last Sunday.
So why not join me and soak up the atmosphere of travel by Amphicar .
Now this is a longer video than usual but I think it is the best way to get the feel of just how relaxed travelling on the water can be.
A real antidote to a noisy ABARTH track day !
