What’s missing?

Well, we are going to have to make it!
It has become a bit of a specialty making parts for these lovely old cars. Short of a Star Trek replicator, it’s down to me to work out how to do it. So if you’re interested, here is how I do it.

Welds Looks like spot welded from the back but not from the front. Dont know. Great repro you made👍🏻

Maybe Luigi made spotweld and Mario said it will not last and then rewelded it in gas. Never know

Maserati did actually use a lot of stick welding on their chassis and sometimes it was quite neat. So could it be stick welding or maybe you are correct on the second count !

I’m sorry to hear that. Are they the larger plastic ones with the fluted sides ? I have seen them but I haven’t had any experience of using them.
