On September 26, 2020, Trump announced his Supreme Court pick to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, selecting Amy Coney Barrett for the position. Just days earlier on September 24, Amy Klobuchar slammed fellow Senator Ted Cruz over hypocrisy surrounding the proceedings. Klobuchar outlined what is on the line, including health care, women's rights, and COVID-19. She also explained how droves of Americans are already voting in the 2020 election. Trump's SCOTUS nominee was announced just weeks ahead of Election Day on November 3.
