She is someone I'd like to see in person. Very very dry. She has discovered the humor in California placenames. I really liked her AND (ital.) would not pass up the opportunity to c#m on her t!ts. I think she would think that's funny and only (understandably) get nervous if I said it in person, and added that it would be an homage (ital.) And I also think she would find that amusing.

I wonder why I'm so alone on this, but I've been watching a ton of comedians, laugh factory, ari's This Can't Be Happening, Dry Bar, and I've only written down about 5 comedians names to check out more of their work, but this girl made it HIGH up on my list to check out more. It's really reaaaally dry, and instead of making that dryness a "part" of her act, it's just a trait she "owns" instead of making jokes AROUND it. Make sense? That's what I'm thinking, anyway

@guthax30

Richard Patterson It's not that...the audience is like an instrument. If you have a poor instrument the music gonna suck no matter how good you are. Her jokes and stories are all well-crafted but without a good audience it sort of...hmm..."mutes" or "deadens" the jokes i suppose. i don't know the term for it. Without a good audience that's having a lot of fun the jokes aren't as funny. they're still funny, but not as funny. Also different jokes require different kinds of audiences and different crowd-sizes to work correctly. The football player bit that she teased probably wouldn't have gone off well with this crowd for example which is why she she felt the room out and decided not to do it or more likely just planned on teasing it and never doing it to begin with.

No its just not a good joke. A couple reasons people may not find it funny: 1. Its incorrect, but that itself is not the joke. 2. Theyve heard it from every garbage English teacher that doesnt understand English but thinks theyre clever. Number 2 is going to be the more common reason, as many people have heard that joke every year for over a decade if they have been through school.

@@TheDesertwalker It takes talent too, if you actually want to make a living which sadly, she lacks .That said, is she hopeless or brain damaged? No. She sorely needs material that is FUNNY. She either has to be talented in this vein or else hire some one who is actually FUNNY to write for her. There is just no escaping this bottom line vitally important straight from the heart advice. Constructively, She needs to be less mono or unemotionally conversational in her tone, and needs more gestures to emphasize points and better facial expressions. The title of this video should have been "Hi I'm Amy Silverberg, and this is how you tell jokes in a room where there are 5 people."

I can see why her routine is easily misunderstood, she's talking about a quirky life, and most people are so mainstream it hurts. She's too honest, the audience wants a ponzi-scheme/comedic laugh track, Fuck them, if they had talent they'd be the next act. Go Girl, I bet you are a good teacher of the craft, because you are the better part of snide!
