Did you know that if you put the discarded peels that come out of the mill back through again you will get even more out of them and you will have extra thick, beautiful applesauce! Works with tomatoes also when you’re canning sauce. I learned this trick last year and was very pleased with the results.

For replacing evaporated milk with a dairy free alternative coconut cream is a good trade...it’s thicker. Almond milk is nearly water. Just what I’ve found works.

8oz in a cup so a 15 oz can is just a TINY bit less than 2 cups. Definitely closer to 2 cups than a cup and a half which would only be 12 oz

Good morning Amy! I love your page and I watch all the time. I just purchased a peeler/slicer/corer that will make your life 100x easier with apples or even potatoes. You can suction it on the counter next to your sink and just let the long peels roll into the sink. I did this a month ago and then even used the peels to make some vinegar. The product should be delivered to your PO Box tomorrow sometime. Try it out and let me know what you think. There are a few things to learn about how to make it work easier for you but it is an amazing tool.

I've been missing my friends back in Indiana so much! My best friend finally is having a baby after 10yrs of trying and they had her shower yesterday and my friends were so sweet and included me with photos and lots of texting. I was so sad to miss the shower! Living here in NC is my 1st time to live so far away from all my family and close friends. But God is helping me to make new friends here as well and it helps some. But nothing like your old friends you've had for eyears that know you best and love you most ♡ but I will see them in December and so looking forward to it! All our children are all around the same ages and in total right now have 27children when/if we all are able to get together at once (non of us have over 4 children even!) So much fun and good memories. good good friends that love God too and aren't afraid to tell me if I'm struggling or needing help in a area! We are a opinionated group lol have had arguments even! But we are thr forever kind of friends and I am so blessed to have them and be part of there lives!

I'm sure you could use any fruit or even savory things in that recipe! Thanks for the recipes! I just wanted to ask, how much water do you put in the pots when cooking down the apples? Thanks again! P.S. praying that sweet little Samuel makes his appearance as healthy and happy as can be and also for your dear Lauren to have an easy birth!

"...KEEP IN PERFECT PEACE..." goes perfectly with a beautiful song, our evangelist at Revival last night, sang. Its so easy to let your heart and mind fall into that place of worrying and fretting, and before I realized it I'd allowed it all to steal my peace. When there is no peace its much harder to trust God, and then everything just seems like such a huge problem to me! But He is so patient with me and so sweet to remind me to lay all my burdens on Him, I need that room for peace! I was all taken up with troubles and problem and no room for His peace and Joy. His Joy is my strength, and He goes before me, and knows my name and all I face, I have got to leave it all in HIS care for HE truly does care for me!! And takes such good care of me! I love HIM... Jesus just helped me so much last night ♡ He is so good to me, so much better then I deserve.
