An Abandoned House with a Big Surprise Inside!!

As I approached this abandoned ranch house that was likely built in the 50s or 60s, I really had no idea what to expect. Would it be interesting, would it be a time capsule or would it be completely trashed inside, you never know until you take a closer look. As I walked inside I could not believe my eyes, there were all sorts of religious artifacts throughout the home including a large 8 foot wooden cross and the previous owners had left everything behind!! As I looked around trying to piece things together, I found kids drawings, school desks and a kitchen still fully stocked with dishes and food, they left everything behind.
It turns out that this was actually an abandoned church with a small congregation likely bought the property a number of years ago to try and create something bigger. At some point in 2017 they had saved enough money to to move into a larger space and when they did, it seems as though they didn't take anything with them leaving this former church to sit abandoned. Unfortunately since that time the basement has flooded and destroyed anything that was down there and the mold has started to take hold of this building.

Haha love it!!! I have the answer to your pear in a bottle question. They put the pear in the bottle while it’s still growing on the tree, they just tie the bottle to the branch with the pear inside. I’m enjoying your videos and I’m looking forward to the next Static Space!!

The room with the kids clothes is where they had Sunday school for the kids. I saw the glue and stuff in the other room for crafts and all the baby stuff in the room with the underwear. Maybe the basement was where they had service and upstairs was for Sunday school for the kids. Worship room where you take your shoes off. That calander looked like it was from December 2017. They could have been getting ready to decorate. I saw some lights on the garage.

James - I absolutely love your personality!! This was a strange one. The house looked like it was nice at one point, I liked the kitchen layout. Looks like it was taken over and used as a church and/or daycare. Definitely can tell that the basement is flooded as there is mold growing on things. Another great explore!

Such a shame that the basement was flooded and getting rotted with mold. Still amazes me how the owners of these places still leave everything behind. Really interesting place. Every thing raised so many questions! I thought for sure that this would be an Orthodox Church because of it being Arabic speaking but some of the books they had were catholic themed. It’s too bad the basement was flooded because it looked like that’s where the congregation met. Loved your infomercial 🤣🤣

Whatever denomination it was, it looks like it they collected baby/children supplies, to help needy families. Might have been closed down, due to the flooding, or not proper building permits etc..

Ya, that's usually the first place i look but it depends on the type of window. This place had wooden windows, so no etching. Also, if they have replaced the windows at some point, it can be misleading but it's a really good starting point. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the comment!!

Here in Brazil, I just left a month-long job at a public health workers' daycare center, where I worked in the classes from two years old and up; And, also, two more previous months in a preschool (inside a public primary school) and I recognized the way in which the activities (painting with their little hands, drawings and cuttings) were done: the methodology, didactic or pedagogical approach are quite the same, judging by the works produced. I'm sure that Canada is no different from Brazil in terms of secular state in all social spheres, but apparently it must be a non-governmental organization, maintained by a Catholic church... A little homeschooling, perhaps?!

But if they had a nursery as many churches do, they probably also had spare changes of clothes in case of accidents. That's a common practise. This was a nice house. I’m glad the basement was flooded, it looked somewhat creepy. I believe that big table as you called it is want they use on the alter when they give out communion. I’m glad you opened that refrigerator. There is just one thing I have to say to you James, you know how much I like your videos, but I found your disregard for the religion outrageous. I am a Catholic girl and I did appreciate your goofing around on that life size cross and saying I am back from the dead. That was not funny. Also the part where you did a fake commercial about selling those small crosses was in bad taste. You really shouldn’t make fun of something you know nothing about. Jesus died on the cross for us and it’s not something to make fun of. I am still going to watch your video and I hope you don’t make any more like this. I appreciate your honesty. I was trying to make fun of religion and like you said i don't know all that much about it. Because of that, i wasn't sure if it was disrespectful or not, i tried to keep it tasteful. I really didn't mean it in a disrespectful way but I am just trying to bring some humour, as always to my videos. The fake ad is part of a series i have been shooting for some locations and that one worked because of the location. Again, although i am not religious and i have nothing against religion, i could have taken it a lot further but i chose not to be aude i didn't want to offend anyone. You have to go into my videos not taking them entirely seriously because like I said, i just like to play around and just trying to entertain and make people laugh.
