Ouch that was really painful for JustCraig and the Tomb Kings. Shortest Winters battle report I've ever seen! Old world is certainly swingy but not normally quite that swingy in my experience!

Peg Knights need to not be Skirmishers. They need a rule where they don't need to rank up but they still have arcs. Either that or they need to up their points significantly. Being Cav, plus Fly, plus Skirmish means they have all the advantages.

When i saw that Necro Sphinx go in with the chariots i was thinking "that's bold", To be fair however i did the same thing with a chaos dragon once charged him in to support marauders, they got biffed and the dragon couldn't do enough wounds to equalize combat so ran

Hello from New Zealand! Bretonnians... my faction. So surprised to see them charge.... just kidding, Brets charge and game over, boom! And the peasants did their job, held up the enemy for the well timed and glorious charge of their betters. Now get back to the fields peasants! Hard to take - an anointed knight falling to a mere skeleton.... (basically a peasant!) oh the shame! Love the Old World, but it seems there are some bugs to fix aye

Beautiful table! I will say that the pegasus doomstack is too oppressive for casual games. 2 wound cav is something they did not balance this game for. Even Grail Knights are 1 wound! Needs an errata imo.

AK Dark Earth with a drybrush of Steel Legion Drab and a little bit of Ushabti Bone afterwards, glue some small stones on and paint them grey with a white highlight, and then some tiny tufts from Gamer Grass 😊

Beautiful paintjobs, but a terrible list for Tomb Kings, saying that just so any new players don't get discouraged from playing them. There were tactical mistakes, strategic mistakes and list building mistakes, namely: You should never, ever not have a Ward save on a dragon, also not taking, literally the best armor in game, that makes the opponent re-roll wound rolls is just gimping yourself. Now a huge strategic mistake is not putting the skeletons in 1 large block, so they can actually weather the hits and you can utilise your Arise ability and keep them in play. Tactical mistakes, where do we even begin.... How bout with zoning, you should zone out your opponent with a huge block of skellies, serving as an anvil for your hammers. With good placement casket will cast uncontested, also if you have your mage in the block, casting illusion magic - you will have a -2 to hit modifier forced on your opponent. There isn't a reason not to do that. So yes, when your opponent gets entagled with skeletons because they underestimated how hard it can be to shift them when all of the buffs are in place you will have free reign to chare their back and monetize on their hubris
