Superstition is everywhere, though Morocco cannot be an exception, superstition is not what prevails!!! I am Moroccan, nobody in my surroundings mentions black magic or magic. I would stop suspecting and accusing others of putting a spell. We are in the 21th century, mind you. Having said that, I have enjoyed all your other videos.

YOU ARE MEXICAN GIRL AND YOUR NAME IS FATIMA THIS IS SO STRANGE BECAUSE THIS NAME IS AN ISLAMIC NAME.IT'S OUR PROPHET MOHAMMED DAUGHTER NAME.WOW! I FOUND THIS NAME A LOT IN BRAZIL BUT THEY IGNORATE WHERE THIS NAME COMES FROM!😃😊🤔

@@BimboBimboBimbo well keep in mind México is a catholic country and the virgin of Fátima is very popular in catholic beliefs. Its believed she appeared in Portugal, maybe that is the reason why you may find many Brazilian girls named after her. Being in Morocco I heard my name all over the place, it was fun because I almost never hear my name here in America. Wish I can travel back soon to Morocco. I do have my trip already booked for Portugal though!

The Mexican culture is very similar to the Moroccan Arab Muslim culture .. The reason for this similarity is that some Muslims who were expelled from Andalusia when they boarded the sea they found themselves on the Mexican coasts and they brought with them their culture and their names.

Thank you for this beautiful video. I was born in Lagos Nigeria, my family are very nomadic and I don’t have a physical place I call home, I guess it’s London. But spiritually and ancestrally I’m drawn to Cornwall, Scotland (my husband is a Scot), Scandinavia and Africa. I lived in Munich for 5 years in the 80s and worked as a fashion designer with Escada and had an absolute ball and loved every minute of it. I then came back to the UK (even though I wanted to go to New York, but I missed London) carried on in fashion and married at 30, wrongly, got divorced. Was alone for fifteen years and then remarried at 50, very happily, moved to Wiltshire gave up my beloved, fulfilling fashion career and then I lost my Mother, brother and other loved ones, which has adversely affected me. At 59 I feel I’ve lost my gypsy and I’m desperate to find her again as we are looking for our next adventure and move. We have a camper van and want to travel more in that next year when hopefully COVID and lockdowns are calmer. But I feel scared and know I am limiting myself with “logical” arguments as to why we shouldn’t do things. Both our house sale and a house we’d offered on collapsed only this week which has been a silver lining to stop us making a big mistake as we didn’t really know where we wanted to be and were house hunting in all the wrong areas in south west England. So we have decided to keep our current house for a while until things calm down and travel next year in the camper, hopefully getting over to our beloved Europe and hope that our souls speak to us about where we should be. I guess COVID isn’t helping with big decision making as its all so uncertain. I love Marrakech. My father lived in Africa and Saudi Arabia most of his life and I have that yearning, I’ve just lost the courage and what Maryam said about living in a capsule and that if she’d lived in Boston or Florida she may not be the creative, passionate person she is, really resonated with me. I’m an artist and Wiltshire is slowly killing my creativity, spirit and I need to reignite my passion, creativity and joy. Wow life’s journeys and the twists and turns it takes us on huh?! But your video has really inspired me and given me joy and thank you for sharing it with us.

I'm crying: healthy, pretty, rich people - that feel good - not to mention employed.....I can't watch the elite, it makes me furious how uneven the world is, and how gloating this story seems. This film is beautifully made by you Kylie, it's just the subject is too bourgeois for me. How many "not normal" families live there on what one potted plant cost in the garden next to the pool of this ex-pat family? OMG! that is it: The "lesson of 20 years of humanitarian aid" is: If you don't want to be, then DONT be [the colonialists in] the "Big House in the village", making yourself feel good by helping little girls draw, etc. Argh, I keep watching and then hoping something (anything) will save this.....it's getting more and more elitest by the second, the "us and them", (we must lift them up....) I find that so ugly and arrogant. I hope this ex-pat family also thinks about this part of their doings, and their children rebel as all children do when reaching maturity, otherwise, they may be just another cog in the colonial wheel which would be crushingly sad. I'd like to hear her define more closely "broke". The farm of your boyfriend Guido and his parents and the workers (your previous film) - now THAT is real and exquisite. I wish them and you and your honey every luxury, there's a different awareness going on at your home, certainly enough "sweat equity", and humble and enduring love. That impresses me. Thank you for doing it all and provoking meaningful thought.

Sometimes you feel like you are alone in those thoughts but I see we all ask ourselves those questions. Thank you so much. Yes, it never ceases to amaze me how many times we (myself included) all fall into the debilitating mindset of believing we’re all alone in our insecurities. It’s such a gift when someone like Maryam is willing to be honest and vulnerable and share the lows as well as the highs to give a more three-dimensional perspective on what it actually takes to gather momentum with any project. I hope you find the strength you need for whatever crossroad you’re at right now. ♥️

I consider your videos as “pick me ups” it never fails, whenever I am feeling overwhelmed with certain struggles or challenges that may come my way, one of your videos gets posted and it just makes a world of a difference. You are very thoughtful and caring! Your videos illustrate the many gifts life offers. I know for me, it’s gratifying to know that I am not alone in my fears and that we all, at some point, feel lost. But what’s amazing, is how you give us that little push to inspire us and to conquer our dreams and doubts and just go for it. Through your videos, I see how nothing stops you from making your life better ❤️❤️❤️ one of my favorite videos, is when you created your own outfit during the first months of the pandemic. I think you were stuck in Florence and you were limited in the amount of clothes you had brought with you. That was impressive, lol. You have really helped us get through this crazy virus with the fun things you do at home...like picking raspberries, renovating your beautiful kitchen, the baking or cooking deliciously....it’s those simple things that inspire!! It goes a long way. Well awesome lady, I am a big fan of your channel 👍🥰🥰 keep them coming Kylie, you are making an impact!!!

Thank you for sharing. It's nice to hear about people that give of themselves to help other people. We seldom hear their stories. Hopefully stories like this will inspire more people to take a similar path. You weave the story beautifully.

I’ve found in my years of publishing different types of content that generally KZbin viewers aren’t so keen on hearing of those who help others. Either it bores the masses or they instantly criticise it and suspect another agenda. I read a theory the other day that explained that people don’t like to be reminded of how they could be doing more and so this subject in content generates negativity or disengagement. Fortunately, this little community that watches my work seems to be the exception. 😊

Shes definitely a doer i admire her for her drive. i think over here is inspiring many countries around the world that havent been washed westernised are very interesting. the richness of cultures, the foods. She moved on a job transfer, Husbands an architect so im sure that helped them set up life there. Amazing. Nothing happens by accident though our souls already agreed to where we would live and when for experience her mother is iranian and im sure that was a draw to move over here.

Kylie, your videos are so inspiring, and the messages in this video are meant to make us reflect on so many parts of our lives. I genuinely believe if you have a dream, and work towards that dream, and fight for it, and act as you achieved it already, the universe will return all the energy that you put into it, and you'll get that you wish for. Kudos from Miami! 🏖🌴⛱

Oh I’m so glad to hear this. I’ve heard so many stories of ‘bumps in the road’ with plans like that, which can be emotionally debilitating but if you can find the strength and funds and patience to keep going, I think the end result is twice as sweet when you finally make it all work. 😊
