Have you seen how Murphy treats his AAPI characters ? The majority of Asian characters in Murphy's shows, have very little screen time, or, have something terrible happen to them. Sunshine, Mike, and Tina are given such little screen time or plot points with Mike and Sunshine straight up disappearing. Sunshine is even sent to a Crack house, because Rachel can't handle competition. In AHS, Asian characters have incredibly violent deaths and only appear in a few episodes or scenes.

It may not be intentional, but, Murphy does not have the best track record when it comes down to this issue.

He needed his people and Mr. Schue, a grown-ass man, let him take the blame, which isolated him from the others when he needed them most. Not only does he take the jacket and blame Puck, but he also lets Kurt think his friend (Puck) would be that cruel and allows him to live with the hurt of believing his friend and Glee family would do that to him. Like Mr. Schue is actually the devil. The. Devil.

I still can’t get over the fact that this random town in Ohio is apparently producing the greatest talent in the country 😂 like you’re telling me only 20 people a year get accepted into a crazy special performing arts college… and 3 of them are from the same high school? Two people from the same town in Ohio were offered leads together in a Broadway show? And one of them only got that audition because of ANOTHER friend from Ohio who had connections because she got signed (and dropped) by a record label? PLUS another one of their friends is a super genius who is the daughter of one of the most famous scientists in the world? And this WHOLE SHOW was supposed to be about a ragtag group of bullied music nerds. I just think they were stretching believability WAY before season 6 😂

Also, THE ONLY reason we got the Britanna wedding was because of Cory's passing (RIP The Quarterback). When The Break-up came out, the writers published that 2 of these 4 are endgame. Like, wow, what a waste of time for everyone 😂 I guess it goes to show why Broadway doesn't function like this in real life...

@@whatdoyousuppose 🫢 as much as I love this drama (broadway drama is truly unmatched) the reality is that Jane was already planning to leave in September and the decision to have the new Mrs. Brice and Fanny begin at the same time was probably a production decision. Jane would’ve had to perform for maybe a week or two (?) with Lea after zero rehearsals together and it makes way more sense to bow out early so the new cast can begin together, especially if they are rehearsing together already and adjusting aspects of the show upon Lea’s debut to better suit her. I wonder if Jane knew anything. I guess we’ll never know! She most likely has another contract lined up or some other commitment or is just done early bc she wants to be done early. And yeah it makes sense to have Tovah and Lea rehearse together at the jump as they’ll both be joining at the same time. I just found it funny that the producers had to go out of their way and say, and this is on record in an article put out when this was first going down, that Jane and Lea will never see each other during this process. The fact they had to state that upfront is just hilarious to me bc of course people wanna know the tea and if there will be any sort of Funny Girl x Glee reunion even if not planned with how the shows/rehearsals progress.

damn… watching “the quarterback” in 5th grade live when it aired, knowing the context of cory’s death…… i lost my great grandpa weeks prior, but that episode, THAT’S what made me realize as a person that death can happen to anyone, not just the people and situations you’d expect. RIP cory 💔

My strongest musical memory from seasons 4 to 6 is when Sue sang 'Little girls' from Annie. Don't even remember which season ut was, probably 5 or 6. Absolutely iconic

In the original airing of the quarterback (the Cory monteith episode) they actually didn’t have the outro song during the credits but unfortunately changed it once it was put up on streaming :/. I totally agree it makes them seem tone deaf I wish they would’ve left it as is.

some tumblr 2012 tea: the whole summer we knew one episode would be called 'the breakup' but we didn't know which couples would be breaking up... paparazzi pictures from shootings would drop and theories were everywhere. it was madness. and the songs would drop(or leaked i dont remember lol) a few days before the episode so when we realized ALL couples sang sad songs??? mayhem it was the biggest event for 14 year old me

Did Rachel not realize where Finn was taking her until they got to the train station? The nearest station is in Toledo, an hour away. Also fun fact: if Rachel were taking that trip now, she'd have to get to the station at like 3am lol.
