Excellent Murray ! Just as soon as this Covid thing permits I am moving my boat from Oban down to Kip. I've got the boots ready and plan to explore every inch of Arran. So thank you for this great wee taster of things to come...

Arran: My back yard Murray. Had some fantastic alpine days over there and hoping for more this winter. I'll give you the heads-up if/when we get them. ATB.

Great walking Glen Rosa,was there a few weeks ago, staying just before the camp site. Every time I headed up on the ridge weather closed in, at one point heading for the witches step.Wind was constant. Great viewing - will be back to do those corbetts.Only managed Beinn Nuis before my face became numb!

Climbed goat fell by way of Glen Rosa in middle of may and views were amazing , the weather for the last month has been stunning on west coast and north of Scotland, we are blessed indeed.

Climbed Goatfell again at the end of june by the coire lan route this time and would say just as good as glen rosa. Certainly not my last time.

Going back a bit Murray but incredible up there. Glen Rosa - I like the name and the Glen itself was spectacular to make your way through I'm sure. The drone footage really did add some value to the video. Beautiful. All the best. Mark

Nice to see this Murray. I was up Beinn Tarsuinn last week. Living in Lamlash makes it a bit more accessible than it is for most! Just trying to persuade the good lady that a drone would be a good idea lol.

Indeed - not super impressed so far with it - however in its defence it was really windy and on the limit of what I would take it up in :) Thanks for watching-much appreciated M An Arran Adventure - The Mountains of Arran

Great stuff Murray, I had a native explain that route to me on the summit of Goat Fell years ago and it looked very good. Bad luck with that low cloud though :(

Very atmospheric. Have you upgraded your drone to something smaller? Or did you manage to fit phantom into this tiny backpack of yours?
@ScotlandsMountains7 жыл бұрын
hi MF- Yeah I upgraded to a Mavic, which make a difference in the footprint size. However not overly impressed - had numerous disconnection issues, jello effects, filters falling apart etc etc .... Still reckon the Phantom 3 was slightly better - albeit bigger :( Hope you enjoyed the film :) Thanks for watching-much appreciated M An Arran Adventure - The Mountains of Arran
