@@shinrapresident7010 the point of providing the physical details was, i imagine, to better paint a picture of what was happening in order to establish a significant contrast betweem an appearance that would stereotypically be rather stoic and an action (ugly crying) that would not stereotypically be associated with that appeareance. It creates a juxtaposition of how one would stereotypically act and how one actually acts. While i would agree the specificity is unneeded and saying 'large build' or some such would sufficied, this alone is by no means indicative of them having 'issues to work out.'

There were some dvds made following the first movie, and in one of them, I believe that Hiccup made an attachment for Toothless's tail, on that would allow Toothless to fly unaided by him. This explains the early gliding scene, where Toothless was able to fly alone while Hiccup was gliding alongside.
@bao.hao_2 жыл бұрын
Its Gift Of The Night Fury. Its a Christmas special introducing Snoggletog. The tail he made is not the same with the one in the second movie. The new attachment he made allows Toothless to fly without Hiccup but the one they're using now still needs Hiccup to assist Toothless. Hiccup just added a lock system where the tail will be locked in that position in order for Toothless to glide and not fall.

The saddest part about Stoic’s death is the fact that it was Toothless… Hiccup is mad, he knows it’s not Toothless fault… but he is in a state were he just can’t think rationally, I don’t blame him, I’d probably react the same way, you see your best friend killing your father right after meeting your mother for first time in so long, Hiccup finally had his family back together, and now Stoic is gone. It’s cruel because Toothless wasn’t in control, he doesn’t understand what he did, he was confused… And Hiccup saw it all happen, saw Toothless losing control. To a certain extent it’s Hiccup’s fault, he wanted to change Drogo, he brought this upon himself, everyone talks about how Stoic never listens but it’s a family trait, Hiccup was too hopeful, he believed he could change Drogo, but he couldn’t, he never had a chance because Drogo is a lost cause, he was able to change his village’s perspective because none of them were bad people, Drogo is not a good person, he doesn’t do this just to avenge his family, it may have started like that but now… he’s not redeemable… and Hiccup was too naïve to understand that. And that’s what brought us here

I keep seeing people say the third film is good and it upsets me (not that they like it more that thsy dont recognise the flaws). The Hidden World is pretty, sure, but everyone is out of character, the designs are weird, theres way too many plot holes, the humour is off, the villain is boring... etc.

agreed! it's a good film don't get me wrong. it was visually stunning obviously and i think it was a good idea to end their storylines in that way but there's a lot the film lacks that makes it the weakest of the trilogy in my opinion. ESPECIALLY the villain. he felt like a walmart viggo grimborn! like hiccup has already faced and defeated a better, younger, smarter version of this random old guy, so why is he of all people the reason hiccup makes the decision to send the dragons away. it makes no sense to me.
@Dizzybevvie2 жыл бұрын

In the first movie his introduction is him singing while he's working. and the Lyrics are and I quote "I've got my axe and I've got my mace; and I love my wife, with the ugly face. Drago was irredeemable period he heard it from his dad and then he heard it from his mom then saw for himself in person at the cost of loosing his dad. i still enjoyed the reaction but the stuff i pointed out was just a turn off for me .
