I would not use this as a general example of cops. Its the current state of the human race and lack of morals thats the issue. i will say there are a number of people my father (who has been an officer for over 20 years) said should not be cops and all the good guys who dont kiss ass never get promoted. So i only half disagree with you. A big issue is the police force is to political and rewards shitty cops and not good ones . As an example one of the top ranked guys on his job is an adulterer and moraly corrupt person who kissed major ass and backstabbed many ppl. My dad cant wait to retire because they are getting worse
@AaronSmith-kr5yf4 жыл бұрын
@@hairychesticles1 Yeah it can become very political. Growing up one of my best friend's dads was a Captain or somewhere very high up in the local sheriff's department. 20+ years of service with this department, new sheriff elected, he's fired the next day. Had to take a job in the next county over and take a pay cut. Turns out the man who fired him was arrested a year or two later while still sheriff for buying oxycotain off the street, the newly elected sheriff was an addict. Buddy's dad got the last laugh, about 10 years after all this goes down he's elected sheriff and served in that role for about 10 years until he retired.

I used to haul cars for a living with a 10-12 car trailer. First thing my boss did with new prospective employees was to have them drive a car up the ramps to the top of the trailer. You can't see where you're going, and this freaked 70 percent of the applicants out, hence they were not hired. If you had taken these guys, before hire, to a race track with someone else's cars, they would have proved themselves unworthy of a job as those guys were terrible drivers. I don't care how much someone was egging me on to step it up a notch, I know my limitations. And, after a lap or two, I know the cars limitations to a degree. Plus, I'm not going to take for granted my employers vehicles which also pay my check! Rob, where on earth did you find these guys? lol

I worked in an office that legally marked jewellery. They had a Christmas party in the board room. I didn't go because I lived out in the countryside and couldn't be arsed going into town for the party. At the party some jewellery went missing. After the holidays when it was discovered they got the police in to interview everyone. I worked in the basement and didn't see the cops in holding the interviews but went up to clock out just at the end of the day as the cops were leaving. As I walked through the door one of the female detectives turned, looked at me and said to her colleague "HIM! We've not interviewed HIM!" Then also said quietly but not too quietly "Yeah, I bet it was him, he looks the type!" It was at that point the office manager turned to her and said "No, he didn't attend the party." I gave the bitch a smug little smile, clocked out and walked out the door.

20 years ago I was working at a supermarket and the night manager decided to take 16,000 from the save with no cameras around the save. The next day HR came and interviewed everyone at the supermarket, they kept an eyes at the night manager because he was the only one with the combination to the save that night when the money disappeared. So the cops came and took him to the police station to interview him every day for the next two weeks of his working days. They have no prove of him stealing the money. They can’t fire him for suspicion of stealing the money, so their plan was to cook a plan for him to come late one day and fire him. That day came a month later when he came in late, where they fired him just because they couldn’t handle seeing him there at the work place knowing that he had stolen the money and there’s no prove to lock him up.

Very insightful, well said. Not to many businesses will tell you that you would have to factor in company losses with in the year. U have a number to gain, a number in which it will cost you to obtain that number.....but there is also a number that you can and will lose that year that cant be predicted or factor in til after. So a business has to be successful enough to be able to absorb whatever the price may be that year.

i work in a very successful restaurant. The GM at the time was in a hurry and put the day's haul of $17K in cash in the safe closet on top of the actual safe. The closet was behind two locked doors and had it's own dead bolt. Well, next day it's gone. GM loses his mind. Has to call the corporate office and then the police. GM makes a deal with the corporate office to start making payments on the $17K since it was his responsibility. Flash forward several months and the pool tables in the bar are getting forced open for the coins. Just coins, no dollar bill readers. Has to be an employee. So, they narrow it down to the over night cleaning crew. First guy they bring in JUST TO ASK A FEW questions to loses his mind and confesses to stealing the $17K right from the start. He told them he used a crowbar to move the doors enough to push the locks open. Turns out he was also the guy opening up the pool tables.

I worked at a legal weed delivery only shop...dude would let well over $16k sit in a shoebox over the course of a weekend. I finally said, hey that's too much temptation, ya just can't do that. Less than a week later they were jackhammering the floor and installing a floor safe, that we used from there on out.
