In simple, in driving accident, if the other person do not admit, you have no chance. If you have video showing then may be. Otherwise police will not bother. In this country people are crazy, i drive £ 90,000, , one car driver driving £ 850 car, saying i hit his car..idot, police came, police started laughing

Interesting thing about personal injury car insurance, In my case my insurance would cover the legal fees for the passenger in my car but not me, the driver. I did get the costs back when the case was settled as the other driver was responsible but in the small print which I read retrospectively it does say the driver isn't covered for legal fees.

If it's a rear end shunt, how is it not their fault? Unless your brake lights were out? Either they were driving too fast or driving without due care. And Daniel, in my experience, the SRA are utterly useless!

@@skumar1993yeah, also he said it was taken on a no win, no fee basis. Why wouldn’t the firm want to take it on if they thought there was decent money to be made? They get £0 by dropping it. So there’s no incentive for them to do this. I feel also he doesn’t really know what’s going on…

My experience with no win no fee was like this. It was is relation to medical neglicence claim. The defendant was ignoring the request from the solicitor and then the court for medical records. This went on for over a year. They had to provide them with 21 days. The solicitor then decided they would not carry on with the claim. I said this then this surely inferred guilt. But they said no not actually giving a reason. I think this odd behaviour is typical of no win no fee solicitors unfortunately.

Nigerian scammers are normally a lot slicker than this my guess is they just don't want to put him on the stand. Daniels belief this is a slam dunk case based upon a 5 minute conversation as opposed to 12 months work by the other solicitor seems quite arrogant.
