You make this look so effortless. I know it’s not. I recently started painting abstracts and have quickly learned that it takes a lot of practice and experience to create the depth, pleasing colour combinations and composition on the fly like you’ve just shown. Thank you for sharing your process.

Hello Pauline, thankfully I have just found you and love watching you paint, Im here in the UK and have just started my art practice and love the landscape. Please can you tell me what your wooden handles are called that hold different size charcoal and im guessing something like art graph? Many thanks for your time and for sharing your journey. Michele

Hi Michelle. They are like a mechanical pencil for compressed charcoal.
