Pauline Jans Activating the Canvas Start with Play 720p

As mentioned in the interview with Louise Fletcher on how I start a new painting on canvas,… one way I enjoy is grabbing a big chunk of charcoal and letting rip. Don't know what is going to happen, don't care, just see what comes of it.

I love the gold/yellow colour coming from the charcoal and the misty look the white creates. It's inspired me to try this approach on my next painting. Thank you.

Im 50 and it never happen befor but i paint every day now for 4 years....and my shoulder and right arm Hurt me alot....your arnest is it for that maybe? Hi Sophie, thanks for your message. Sorry you are having trouble. No ,this is a back brace to keep my back upright & straight, shoulders pulled back for better posture. I don’t really use it anymore though 😬
