Man I'm so glad Nisi released the true colour lineup. I love their stuff, but their previous NDs had such a bad blue cast - solidly built, but that blue cast was savage. Can 💯 recommend the single stage VND though, definitely in my top 5 pieces of gear.

After switching to Nisi IRNDs I have literally zero desire to ever use variable NDs again for controlling the exposure (or as in this case combo of rotating and linear PL which is basically the same). Just doesn't look as good... Although I get the convenience factor and therefore secretly wish I had Sony FX6 with its awesome electronic NDs! BTW I suppose this rotating filter is not compatible with the likes of Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom and Wooden Camera Zip Box matte boxes?

Yeah. If it's one thing I learned early on is the value of a good CPL filter or Polarizer. I paid about 500 bucks for mine from Lindsey Optics and it pretty much lives in my matte box.
