Really glad to know you enjoyed them. I list enthusiasm to do anymore since season three. The concepts are awesome but I lost faith thatmmeyd so anything with them. But the philosophy is still there to explore in our heads 😁

You really are into mandalorians. I underestimated this statement when you first said it. I never felt that star wars was inpired by samurai or more likely samurai media in terms of protagonists or even characters in general more likely in terms of setting and story tropes than anything else.

What I admire about the Mandalorians are their values of community, family, children, self-reliance and self-improvement. Now they do believe that the key to those things is near constant warfare so ... I can't say I fully agree with their philosophies but I do find them interesting. I am interested in religion and religious characters and when i read that (at least in legends) the Mandos worshiped a god of war (not surprising 😉) but there was in contrast a god of peace who was also the god of sloth. So they thought peace was the road to decay and a stall in progress and considering what happened to the Jedi there is a current of truth to that. So according to the Mando's old religion if you are living in peace you are living in sin. And that wad just soooo antithetical to everything practically every religion today teaches that it kind of blew my mind a little. Anyway enough of my rambling. Hope you find it at least somewhat interesting.

@@whyitdoesntworkforme9206 I admit I didn't know the religion of the mandalorians is this detailed in legends it avoided my attention, despite the fact religion is a favoured topic to me. "So according to the Mando's old religion if you are living in peace you are living in sin" I don1t think it's that surprising we talking about mandalorians after all. For example as far as I know pre-christian scandinavians believed Odin or gods brought the war to humanity but it was something to be grateful to.
