Agreed! SATC went out on top of its game 18 years ago after a successful 6-year run and then had two great movies in 2008 and 2010. Let it rest in peace. This reboot was a total embarrassment to the entire SATC franchise. I feel like this was nothing but 10 episodes on LGBTQ, which in of itself is fine, but we didn't need to resurrect a TV show from almost 20 years ago to do an entire miniseries on it!

I don't actually think that Rock is a spoiled teenager -I think that if I were Charlotte I would have talked to Rock about why there was so much reluctance in "studying" for the they mitzvah - I think it was pushed onto them far too much. Rock is going through a lot and so much of what is happening gets brushed aside. I understand that Rock is only 13 and some people will argue that they don't understand themselves that much - but they are transitioning into an adult and are probably far more self aware that is given credit. I don't agree with Anthony's approach either. Rock needs to be able to express what is happening for them and isn't able to.

I agree. Rock never wanted to have a bar-mitzva in the first place. It's nice that Charlotte and Harry tried to make the event more comfortable for them, but that does not mean Rock ows them anything. There's definitely some very conservative, Orthodox groups, but most Jewish people I know are from extremely liberal and open-minded families. Quite ironically my best friend is a genderfluid, queer Jewish person, and their family is extremely supportive and open-minded.
