@@webstermom7 There is deep meaning in veiling ones face, think about this when you veil your face you symbolically have crossed/passed through the veil and now looking as though you are behind the veil. Another thought is the woman is the veil by which all life passes through.

​@@webstermom7 in the temple everything has symbolic meaning of sacred truth. As cultures change the meaning of the symbolism can get lost and misunderstood. Women being veiled, I think, is an example of this. The true meaning behind the symbolism was getting misunderstood because in our culture today this was being seen as offensive. So the symbol was altered but not the truth behind the symbol. Those truths are eternal. But the whole idea is that the symbols lead us to those eternal truths and if they stop doing that, than they can be changed. If that makes sense

Also I was highly skeptical at the beginning about all these connections, but I think that I just wasn’t believing that God cared enough to throw so many Easter everywhere in the scriptures, you have restored my faith that God is everywhere and he doesn’t ever say anything he doesn’t mean.

I have been struggling with the question of "no veil" anymore, sad because it seems that too many in the church don't understand its significance of covering and protecting the holy, but also understanding that the church doesn't cave to outside influence either. Your explanation at the end about when the veil is lifted from the bride was like a bolt of lighting! And, of course, it also fits with the change in (2019) of the robe and shoulder (the invitation). Not to mention President Nelson's talk this last conference. Can anyone truly doubt that He is coming, and soon! Can't wait for your next video!

I went to read the Jacob and Esau story because of the discussion in the video, and I came across this gem of a verse: gen 25:27. Esau was a man of the fields (earth, world) but Jacob dwelt in tents. I understood this totally differently after her explanation of tents/veils and being in Gods presence!

It means “to make a solemn declaration or affirmation of.” I have gotten into the habit of using the Webster dictionary app while reading the scriptures. As native speakers we tend to take for granted the words we use everyday and forget there are multiple meanings of one word. Doing this has opened my spiritual eyes to the deeper meaning of doctrines we don’t quite understand. Thank you for the wonderful work you do on this channel. This special coat given to Joseph in Hebrew interpretation the "coat of many colors" is referred to as "ketonet passim" (כְּתֹנֶת פַּסִּים), which can also be interpreted as "coat of many marks" or "striped garment," as the word "passim" can refer to stripes or distinct markings rather than just colors. So a garment with many marks is another translation.

Esau sold his birthright to Jacob, but then when his father was ready to give the birthright to him, he was going to accept it knowing it was no longer his, he knew he sold it away to his brother, but his father did not know, Esau was in the act of deceiving his father and cheating his brother out of the thing that now belonged to him I always get so frustrated when I hear people accusing Jacob and his mother as the ones “deceiving” or “cheating” when in reality it was Esau all along, not Jacob I loved how in this episode Jacob becomes the one righteous and worthy to be at the veil being introduced and given the right to pass through This was awesome!!

I love near the end of the podcast, about the “time we are living in and the veil being removed!” Someone was lamenting the Provo temple being replaced. AMAZING ONCE AGAIN!!! In my chapel up here in Seattle area I noticed on the wall behind the choir seats there is what dawned on me as a katuba. I was blown away!!! This is great, some comments I read recently touched on this. It wasn’t a positive view, And I wanted to learn a little more about it, so thank you for the video. I have found that many antagonists actually inspire me to learn more. I know they are wrong but sometimes I can’t pick it out other than it doesn’t feel right. And no I’m not ignorant, I just haven’t done a deep dive into some of the doctrine, and it’s nice to have a refresher on the topic.

14:50 haha, earlier this year I was thinking and talking to people about how Nephi kept mentioning that his father dwelt in a tent and was wondering why and asking what other people thought. This contention makes me so excited to ponder on that idea some more.

Robert Kay would ask us to look at what was the first “tent” in the Torah? Notice that in the BOM “and my father dwelt in a tent is a marker to pay attention because a temple doctrine is coming -and every time a temple concept or doctrine follows in the verses after. It’s a PaRDeS approach to Jewish prophecy and teaching and it’s throughout the BOM.
