So Awesome. I learned about Rick Rubin from the Huberman podcast. I love that now we got to learn so much personal background on Dr. Huberman. I love that both of these inspiring gentlemen are so full of enthusiasm and authenticity. It brings me such a sense of motivation to learn, when I listen to these guys.

Rick is such an incredilbe listener and identifier of really interesting insights of what people share. He's a true observer that stands alone. He's basically the new podcaster minds eye and we can benefit tremendously from his talent. I feel lucky and grateful I just found his podcast so I can enjoy and absorb the insights he's able to reveal from his future podcast guests.

33:40 "I must have known, in my subconscious; I want to become a public science educator. I must have known! I don't believe that our brain just learns things as we go forward. I think we have an understanding of where we could end up." Boy, that statement hits...

I have so much admiration for Huberman. Given his childhood / young adult experiences, it could have been easier to be come bitter and jaded. But he used it as fuel to turn his life around. What an inspiring story. If you're reading this comment, sending you hugs. You got this!

This was really awesome. I loved this episode. It was great to hear Andrew’s story of his upbringing in more detail. As well as the views on what goes on in science from his perspectives. A different angle on some of the corruption we have all been noticing in some way or another. I’d love to hear another chat with you guys and go into the Wikipedia topic that you almost got into twice :). Loving this podcast, great vibes

Incredible. I share a similar “need to share” mentality, and although I am so vastly different from Andrew Huberman on so many levels, to hear his origins and delineate how he came to be, I noted several parallel paradigms, which are truly motivating and inspirational to me. I’m so grateful for this episode, Rick. This may have changed me forever. Thank you for letting us in on this conversation!

Love hearing the both of you sharing your life experiences. I found myself thinking, wow I'm not the only one whose had similar life events that helped shape my future. One question, you may have answered it in one of your podcast, yet why did you chose "L'amour est bleu" as the beginning and end music of the podcast? When I heard it, it brought back memories of my parents playing that song when I was growing up in the 70's. 🙂

2:36 so tenure is smth like getting Professor status in my country in humanities sphere. We have Candidate of science (Phd) then you get "dotsent" status (associate prof), then you write your Doctor of science dissertation/research, then you get a professor position Also even for Candidate of science we need to get external references and oponents.

Talking about when intuition or instinct arises - looking back I've definitely been alone at the life changing moments. There was no rhythmic action though, just going about my day. It feels to me now that it was an unconscious leaning back into the full being of God just long enough to "hear" or blurt out the life altering idea, at which point no matter how crazy or unappealing, I had no choice. Sure made me face some fears and let go of manipulating life.

When you have a relationship with God and call him by name, “he causes to become” - YHWH - Jehovah (English translation), your fears of being alone change. (Psalms 111:10; Genesis 11:4-9; Exodus 3:13-15; Exodus 9:16; Matthew 6:9; John 12:28) There is a difference between fear 😰 and reverential awe😮 So, if you feel that God is working through you, what is His purpose?
