You are absolutely correct Andrew. Music programs are critical. We need more kids to be in music in school. Band, jazz band, orchestra, choir, etc. Schools need to stop defunding them.

As a Canadian and avid watcher of your channel, I'm not sure if I'm more offended by your slights against Canadians at the beginning of the video, or the clear disregard for the sharpness of the skate blades by running them against the kick and hi-hat pedals...bunch of hosers! Two part comment. First. In learning drums, I keep switching between barefoot and shoes, not sure which works better for me. I'd never thought of trying ice skates! Second. Before learning drums now at 35, I played violin since I was 10. When we moved up where I went to HS, there was no string program. Zero. Just a really crappy band. My only hope was trying out for the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, and I couldn't quite cut it. And that pretty much killed my violin career. I still play. But it's super disheartening when all the money goes to stuff like (American) football, which is being shown more and more to result in lifelong injuries.
