Android 12 was pretty exciting imo. It just goes by cycles. At some point in the next few years, I'm sure google will refresh the interface again and start a new cycle.

Maybe they can score apps based on themed icons, predictive back gestures and other new features on Play Store. And boost the apps on search with more scores

Themed icons being out of beta means that the feature is no longer being tested. Apps that don't support the feature have nothing to do with this fact as developers need to opt in voluntarily to make it work.

I'm the only that has problems with the apps, I can't load the app, it keeps trying to get in the app but it keep loading till it stops and let me retry, I have to restart the device to make it works.

I dont think youll ever get full theme support like cyanogen theme engine without root ever. Theyve been able to do it since kit Kat, the oneplus one shipped with it as stable as I've ever seen it. They just wont do it especially with manufacturers still using their own uis when android 11 came out most companies were headed towards vanilla android samsung held out and are the main reason today it will never be native. Theme engines and backups will always require root

I have used many custom roms and theme icons work for all apps. There is option in custom rom to generate force theme icons for apps that doesn't support. It's not AI thing i guess.

This update broke 4G and 5G for me, now I can only use 3G. I can connect to 4G for 1 second and then it simply gives me no service and I am forced to switch to 3G

2:05 😂😂😂😂😂, the ignorance when it comes to educating oneself about exactly how the current state of the art in "AI" actually works is mind boggling. Besides, if an application publisher or developer says "I don't my app icon to have the same color/swatch theme as the other apps on clients devices", that's very well within their rights. Not all problems can be fixed with AI, especially when it comes to problems that have a pretty low inaccuracy tolerance. We're talking about people's businesses and livelihoods here.

Isn't that the promise of Ai we're being sold on? Ai is suppose to be able to improve the OS experience in fun and practical ways? We're being told that Ai is a problem solving solution to complex questions, text summarization, brain storming, but it can't create custom Icon packs? 😭 IDK man, sounds like we're all being lied to when it comes to how smart Ai really is nowadays.
