What I would say is, when your expectations are high, disappointment is greater. So while I agree ‘10 years’ sounds pathetic, it’s been brutal given previous success, given the investment, given the constant magnifying glass on everything that goes wrong, given the relentless glee with which fans from all teams express their happiness at the constant downfall, given our two biggest rivals meteoric success. When a team has always been unsuccessful, a lack of success doesn’t hit as hard, I assume…
