I feel like he’s been through some stuff in life. There’s an intensity and focus in how he strums, and in his note choices. Very soothing frequencies. That makes me feel like guitar was his therapy

'Art Of Motion' now performed on a baritone-scale guitar. It sounds even more beautiful than the original album recording!

The pulloff harmonic technique blew my mind so much when I saw the old candyrat video.. loved it so much i didn't even play at the time! Such a beautiful song by a wicked musician

Love this song in the baritone, it just seems to me that some of the higher notes get drowned out though. Especially at the beginning when the main melody comes in.

The baritone really changes the song, almost too much. I'm certain Andy got a bit bored or just wanted to give it a different dynamic. Bad ass song, bad ass player. Andy's Tight Trite Night, Heather's Song, All Laid Back'n Stuff are great tunes as well.

It actually happened at a concert in Portland where "Art of motion" was requested to be played but he had his baritone on him, so he tuned up and went and ended up loving the way it sounded. Super cool to be there and witness it. Every time I see him play this with a baritone it brings a smile to my face.

Step 1: Be named Andy (Andy McKee, Andy James, etc.) Step 2: Be bald (kind of?) (Also Andy McKee, Andy James, etc.) Step 3: Automatically acquire insane guitar skillz Step 4:....... Profit?

The main theme (or what ever it is) reminds me of "I see fire" by Ed Sheeran. It's problably slightly inspired by this song. But it's originial enough that I don't have a problem with it, I'm just saying.
@duym8088 жыл бұрын
Um you do realize this song came out years before I see fire, right!?
@sebastianxxx33518 жыл бұрын
Wasn't sure about that. If so, Ed Sheeran stole it -.-

Patrick Robichaud because that not just high price guitar always got very good status on the distance between strings itself and frat board of gap, but also most hand of pressing chords [ lefties use right hand] definitely have much stronger grabbing power than other hand and most of regular people’s. [my pressure figure from my chords hand are 90KG righty hand between 70~75 KG psi btw] just because my Martin HD28 have to change the upper and lower pillow of strings once in 2 years maximum due to tuning pegs tunes too frequently plus vibration make the pace cut it deeper faster than most of other player’s so i asked private custom guitar manufacturer to customize multiple pairs of pillow make it 0.1~0.2cm higher additionally for that consumption pace from frictions and pretty much over 8 hours endless playing per day caused. so pretty much my audiences wanna gives a go but they couldn’t play it well at all for 1.2 gage plus 0.15cm higher make my grabbing much powerful than regular’s caused, find by me to make them looks bad when ever these stupider dupier Drunks Aussies asks me give it a go then devastated their arrogant. sure they needed mum to re-educate em theirs personal manners after they drunk hours. hope it’s answered your questions.

Wow, am I the only one who thinks this sounds disgusting on a Baritone acoustic? It loses all it's definition, there's no longer a dynamic feel that's easily audible with each note and each chord progression. I mean it's not a big deal for the purpose of showcasing the song and techniques, it's just everyone in the comments is saying they love it and to me it sounds terrible in comparison haha. Sounds way nicer when he's breaking the song down and slowly playing each chord progression though On a side note, Andy McKee is an absolute acoustic god
