When I first saw this video, I was 14 or 15. At the time there was a local music venue in town that my life basically revolved around. It was a big deal for a lot of us kids. This video was UNREAL to us, and spread like wildfire. Clearly, we weren’t the only music scene that was captivated. I’m now 28 and working a corporate job, with a house and three pets lol. The past 14 years have been filled with hurdles - some self induced and others out of my control. Sometimes I miss the simpler times, but this song still gives me a sense of hope and appreciation for life that it gave me when I first heard it.

Dolph C. Volker he actually had lessons on the guitar but I do see whereyou're going in your point. :) In interviews he has talked about his lessons briefly and he also said he used to practice 8 hours a day or at least a coupel per day.

god i love this so much.....listened this masterpiece first time sometime during 2011 and now its 2021. the melody just takes you through your own past memories.....absolute beautiful music!

man I still remember watching this song back in 2006 for the first time. totally flashed by this massive talent and composition I've spent many weeks during the upcoming summer holidays learning and practicing this masterpiece as a teenager. Just like so many other people I'm sitting here listening to this in 2022 and I first heard this song over 10 years ago and it sounds just as good as when I first heard it, makes me think of so many good times playing guitar with old friends who I kept in touch with and some I've lost touch with but those memories will always be there and to be able to listen to a song that brings all those memories back is something quite special.
