Berrentini just outplayed murray that day. Murray tried to hang in there but the hammer crushed him💪💪💪

Murray will never win a Grandslam again, but he's playing to test himself against the best but his body just can't hold up, he should just focus on doubles with Jamie.

Imagine Berettini but with powerful backhand as well... wouldn't that be a sight?

Andy Murray was once at an elite level prior to his injuries and subsequent surgery he had to go through. The medical issues have kind of put a cap on what he's capable of winning. He can beat first and second round opponents in most matches but by the 3rd and 4th rounds the not fully repaired body with metal rods in it just won't allow him to compete with the higher level opponents where you must go deeper into rallies and points to win.

No question that Berrettini is one of the top players, but I just wonder if he really plans to continue slicing 90% of his backhand until the end of his career. Compensated by his powerful serve+forehand, and smart shot selection, the slice is effective and sufficient against most of the players, but it is doubtful if can stay consistently competetive for a top 10 player. I just don't understand why he doesn't spend some more effort to develop a solid topspin backhand to complete his arsenal, especially as a double-handed player.

Berrettini is definitely winning us open this year.. I dare anyone Stop Berrettini winning us open 2022.

Kyrgios? I would put my money on him rather than Berrettini

I would just like to say, Berrettini deserves more respect. He’s a consistent top 10 player (only reason he isn’t right now is because of Wimbledon points) who always shows up and brings his best at slams. He’s a consistent lock to make QFs and SFs on every surface. I feel like everyone picks him to be upset off grass, but he’s shown us that he’s a force on every surface. Will he beat top players like Nadal, Djokovic, or Medvedev? A bit unlikely. But he’ll always be a stiff test for anyone.
@pauljohnson60192 жыл бұрын
On hard court he can beat Nadal if he doesn't choke.

@@pauljohnson6019 Oh, like he beat him in AO 2022 or USO 2019? I’m a little confused as to which match you’re talking about.

Amateurish ball toss by Berrettini It gives the receiver too much of an idea of the serve's direction. He needs to gain some confidence and get away from serving like that because an elite returner like Djokovic will read that easily.
@pauljohnson60192 жыл бұрын
Yeah but Djokovic is not playing this tournament is he? He's been banned what a pity.
@cristianovia2 жыл бұрын
and who are you to judge like that? Serena Williams?

@@cristianovia From what I can tell, the lack of confidence from Berrettini in his serving motion probably bespeaks the root of his recent relationship woes.
@antonydandan62552 жыл бұрын
"Amateurish" is only your comment! You use Djokovic as comparison level for Matteo, which means comparing him with the best tennis player of all time (possibly), doesn't it sound you're having a contradicted comment while criticizing Matteo? If you don't like it just watch matches when Djokovic is playing so your ego is satisfied. Forza Matte'!! Il mondo è pieno di fottute persone invidiose ed acide!
