My Brother was an organiser for this concert in Plett and my mates and I were hired as runners for the show. The unpaid crowd on BI beach was so big, they flattened the perimeter fences and stormed the concert area. There was no stopping them. The party was huge!

I have seen to Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark two times, (October 15th 2011 and April 18th 2013) the difference is that nowadays Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys are together again, like in the 80´s. They are so fantastic at stage, I can´t belive that this concert was in the year i was born. I´m 20 years old and i LOVE 80´S MUSIC!

I was at the concert in Plett at only 14 years of age! I knew a few tunes of OMD and went to watch the opening act, Mango Groove... but became a lifelong OMD fan after experiencing their unforgettable show on Plettenberg Bay beach (near the Beacon Isle Hotel).

The GMEX gig on the 8th December 1993 was the first ever concert I attended as a 16 year old. Went to a few fan meets in Liverpool in the mid-nineties too. Such a great band.

The OMD of the 90s still put out good songs even without the normal cast. I'm glad Andy (and Paul via Listening Pool) pushed on and made their music as opposed to quitting completely. Hope they produce another album soon. Love their sound now (and then).

I was there too, although I'd have been 21 at the time. It was fantastic! It will stay with me as I went with my dad who was working for M.W Kellogg Construction in Wembley at that time. He passed away in 2008 but it is one of my fondest memories of something we did together. Funny how these things trigger the old memories.

Andy doesn't like liberator that much, Sugar Tax and Liberator were also from the Solo era so it would be a bit awkward. They do play Pandoras Box and Sailing on the Seven Seas live lots
