Evan!! I have to tell you thank you from the bottom of my soul. My twin brother has had 3 back surgeries and a spinal fusion. He gets up everyday because of your videos. You are a blessing, your mentality and wisdom affect more people than you will EVER know. Thank you for giving my brother a reason to not only lift and train but you gave him the will to walk again and most importantly to live. Depression is a beast. I owe you and it is a debt I can never repay for giving me my twin back.
@Grizzleback077 жыл бұрын
Sophia P You are so full of crap. Everyone I have talked to and met, family included, that has had any back surgery, let alone a spinal fusion, does not ever want to see or touch another weight again. Ever. The amount of constant pain caused by a fusion or herniated discs is unbearable and prescription pain killers cannot stop the pain. Nice try.

Evan's isn't as obsessive about perfection and optimization as other bodybuilders. "Optimal" is a good word many champions use to explain how they select what protein, fat and carbohydrates are included in their diet. Rhino Stan uses only beef as the protein and rice as the carbohydrate because each is better than the alternatives like chicken and potato, respectively. The bodybuilders who have a neurotic focus on their meals don't include sub-optimal foods like rice cakes, almonds, olive oil and pineapple.

And the best advice through it all(all good advice overall) was hydrate and eat your damn vegies!!! Nothing worse than hearing a bodybuilder (or powerlifter) saying they don't eat a lot of vegies because they don't like them! Just eat them and be done with it, macros are important but so are the micronutrients!!

A lot of truth about nutrition here, he's a little to accepting to polyunsaturated fats in my opinion. Polyunsaturated fats, whether from oil or almonds (makes no difference) will impair glucose metabolism, shut down thyroid hormone, and cause inflammation. If you're going to eat nuts better make it macadamia and hazelnuts. I think it's funny when on scam shows like Dr. OZ they always talk about walnuts being the best, lol. They're perhaps the worst "whole food" you could put in your body. Also, off topic, but don't believe sheer nutrition and calorie surplus will make you this big. This guy obviously has done steroids before. And I don't say that to bash the guy either, but it's obvious. And it may be one of those situations where he only did them a handful of times throughout his life, but nevertheless he's taken extra stuff before.

Besides cutting out complex carbs and doing cardio I dont think this has a lot to offer. if you know those two things you will lose weight. Fats are essential. Not all of us are pro bodybuilders. Bodybuilders need fats more than anyone.
