This was amazing! Thanks for sharing so many details about a real StopMotion feature experience. I almost didn't want the video to end. It's super interesting to know what really happens behind the finished product.

Having animated only for short films and commercials, feature animation sounds a hundred times more challenging to me. Anyways, I would love to get there. It’s so inspiring to read your blog and watch your videos!

I'm assuming "blocking" is like making the storyboard but with the frames. I never knew animating a scene for a feature film can be. . .intimidating. And there is such a process, 2 meetings at most?! This story will help future stop motion animators when they make it to the big leagues. Thanks Mr.Rasch.

wow this is so educational and the feeling right there in the process from start to finish is absolutely incredible with mixed emotion, at the end of the day when you finish the scene and watching it in normal speed is such a Joy. BTW Cool intro, total symbol of Kid at heart, having so much fun but in a responsible mature person 😊😁👏❤️.

Thanks for the video Justin! One question, is it possible to become a good Stop Motion filmmaker without having a personal gift or talent for arts/animation/modeling? The reason I ask you this is because I love stop motion films and I would really like to do a film in this style

Don Bluth decides to make Dragon's Lair live action instead of Classical animation.... I'm happy but sad at the same time. Sad because the animation process already started, and now we will never get to see it... we will be getting Ryan Reynolds instead on Netflix. I hear Bluth will still be involved... could go either way in my opinion. Sad they can't afford to make it the way it should be done
