I know not an Anime; but if ou have not done so check out live action One Piece. I mean for fun not work. Best adaptation I may have ever seen. I swear their budget could feed Japan for a year. Because more than 8 episodes it felt like 8 movies in budget. If you know virtually nothing or are manga current fan you should be able to enjoy this one. I feel anime emotional scenes hit harder but then again there's no replacing time as a key ingredient so amazing job given the far less build up to the scenes.

There every other week releases as it feels have screwed with my sense of episode release date. I love the MC's Action hero energy... like Jacky Chan should play him in the LA adaptation I have heard is in the works.

Something about them using so many different colours for the blood is just really pretty and cool, and almost makes it scarier in a way since it stands out so much more

This anime is like the best parts of HSOTD, Shaun of the Dead and Train to Busan put together. Great emotional moments, great comedy moments, absurdly epic shots and wonderful characters interactions. I am SO glad the manga got such an outstanding adaptation, if it keeps up like this it might just be one of the greatest zombie-based media out there.

I honestly was hesitant to go into this at first. With the colorful blood and stuff, I thought it would be a ridiculous, goofy, pure comedy anime. But I'M glad it has a great balance of serious moments, not really making light of the situation. On that note, an other thing I really like, is that they don't just randomize the color of the blood. In more serious scenes and in general, they keep the token red color around wounds to keep some realism in with the style. They kinda have their cake and eat it too.

What makes Ep 1 even more interesting is if you know the backstory about how BUG Films was founded. Many of the staff working on this series originally were working at OLM Studios. A lot of them left because of complaints of working conditions very similar to Akira's job, and after they left they went on to found BUG Films. Ep 1 seems to be a gigantic call-out against OLM Studios as well, as Akira's office greatly resembles the offices of OLM Studios, and the company logo on their badges greatly resembles the logo for OLM Studios.

This is a very accurate adaptation of the source. I was scared when I heard it was getting an adaptation. I was terrified when I heard a new studio was doing it. This anime has been amazing! This studio has done a better job then I think any of the big studios would have.

Knowing that BUG FILMS is actually what OLM Team Kojima became after Komi Can't Communicate makes this anime all the better. Kazuki Kawagoe directed both as well, I'm not surprised it's done so amazingly. That also explains the accurate writing animation.

One cool thing I noticed that's really telling about both Akira's and Shizuka's character is their lists. Shizuka has the standard zombie survival list w/ all the main stays; food, water, a sound mind, all that junk, because she *doesn't* want to become a zombie. Akira's, on the other hand, is full of what some would call 'meaningless' distractions; ride a motorcycle, wine and dine a flight attendant, get a solid gold watch, but that's because he's trying to *live* instead of survive and, at least how i read it, is accepting of the fact that becoming a zombie is inevitable, so why not do what you want before you die?

I'm curious, are you trying to cover seasonal anime more quickly so you can utilize the trend as it's happening as opposed to when everyone has already moved on to different seasonal animes? Because i did consider that early on when i discovered your channel for the first time that growing it might be more difficult when the series you make videos on are series that have already finished production for a while now. Would love to know if this is the case or mere coincidence.

Yes that's exactly right, with YT recommending less and less of my content i had to make a big change to see if I could salvage the situation. 3 weeks in its still too early to tell if it will work but its certainly helped a little so far

I think it might be worth considering including the names of the arcs covered in the episodes you're making content on in the titles of the videos. E.g. instead of adding "First Quarter" at the end of the JJK video you made, it might be better to include "Hidden Inventory Arc" instead, might make an improvement on SEO. Of course this isnt as applicable to most series, but just a thought i wanted to share. Thanks for the content you make! Wishing you well!
