Spoiler Wouldn't say they are nothing, especially the former who would be able to easily become an executive of either Zeus or Hera familia. Both their captains acknowledged him when Ottar was just a teen, the latter even offering a marriage to him in 10 years which would be around the time he became level 7 too. With his base being at the apex of level 7 and Beastification being level 8, they won't be able to easily swipe him away, coupled with his layers of defence and experience with them. I doubt brute force for Finn will be anything impressive for the captains but his intellect will surely be looked impressively upon.

That's Zard and Alfia who were level 7 but the captains were level 8 and 9 2:13 Ottar is confirmed to be the only level 7 in Orario. there is another level 7 but they're not in Orario. 2:32 Ottar is a Boaz, the beast people race with the greatest physical abilities, hence his stats 13:49 Bete was around during the dark age, just not in Loki Familia yet

The other level 7 is the knight of knights, in terms of physical strength and raw power (in base) he’s equal to ottar, ottar said his attacks are weaker than Leon’s during his fight with Hildis. Ottar has his beast mode, but Leon is a different breed, he has 12 abilities called the knights of the round, each ability increases his stats exponentially, basically multipliers upon multipliers, he’s basically haruhime on crack but he has unrevealed steps to activate these abilities, but after all these abilities are activated he can use the holy sword, than he’s basically invincible

The whole LN Volume about Bete in Sword Oratoria made me love him as a character. He may be an asshole but there's a deep reason he's like that, and the spell being effectively him singing of his scars from the past is such a deep moment. The reveal of his Spell Hati was an amazing moment in the story and really fits him as it's basically power through pain, which with his backstory makes a lot of sense.

@@robertbartley2409 A possible candidate for the other level 7 is the Captain of the Poesidon Familia. Poesidon Familia helped the Zeus and Hera familia's fight and kill the Leviathon. It would make sense that a Familia that aided in a fight like this to have a powerful Adventurer like a Level 7. WOuld make sense that such a person could fight off Ottarl if they could stand side by side with some of the strongest to ever live. Currently the Familia is away at sea trying to hunt down all the Sea Monsters that escaped from the dungeon entrance to the sea.

To level up you would need something that is supposed to be "impossible" for you to achive The highest known achieved is Level 9 but one character was implied to have the power of a Level 10 because of his cheat skill but as he was LV 7 his body couldn't use the full power of the cheat without breaking it

To expand a bit, Finns Tyr Na Nog could be the same as Dims final attack in the Knights of Fianna. An attack that Omori himself stated as the second strongest attack ever in the age of heroes (with Albert presumably being responsible for number 1). It was an attack that carved through a (possibly black variation) Balor (the same monster that Ottar could not beat by himself) and several mountains. Creating the canyon that leads to Orario in the present. Bete with Hati is potentially so powerful that Gareth himself called him the strongest adventurer he knows. And Gareth is well aware of Ottar. I think you missed Aiz. While it is true that in PvP she is not the best,, in terms of Raw power showed , she is potentially number 1. In SO11, while training with Ottar, she states that Revis was superior stat wise to Base Ottar. Aiz then proceeds to use Avenger + Ariel to continuously beat an even stronger Revis, and when she hears Bell, gains access to her white wind, which one shotted Revis. Potentially putting her at level 8 tier.

Ais only said that because that's what she believed, but remember despite what he said ottar went easy on her after all ottar is the same guy who beat ais at level 6 with one hand in season 1 of oratoria and stopped ais's strongest attack by simply putting his other hand on his sword, he didn't even use magic or skills yet she could barely keep up, he and filvis are probably very relative with ottarl's defense being higher amd filvis's attack magic allowing for greater wide area damage and when he goes all out he's stronger than both of them

The era with no Gods and humanity was in their fight against monsters with only grit, skill, sheer determination and the occasional hero blessed by a Great Spirit Bete and his Familia was part of the Dark Age as expanded in the Astraea Record Novels

Massive freaking spoilers!!!! They have 7 lvl 6s a level 5 and a bunch of lvl 4s and below. While freya familia is like a den of wolves with many of the members having death matches against each other Loki familia is like a well oiled machine with members that cover each other’s weaknesses and enhance each other’s strengths. They’re lead by Finn who is the pillar of the familia in terms of moral and strategy. This is a strength along as he stands the familia won’t fall but if he falls it become a massive weakness like how in sword oratoria volume 7 when he almost dies moral fell which lead to the deaths of like 7 of their members.

Do you mean via feats too? Because if so there are some crazy ones, especially with Gareth. Gareth in particular destroyed an entire calvary charge of thousands of riders once (tossing people and horses far into the air with each swing of his axe, even if it didn't directly touch them), literally grabbed a dragon by its tail and spun it round until he threw it hundreds of feet with enough force to break its neck, and alongside Tiona punched his way through the adamantite walls of Knossos. The anime doesn't exactly show how ridiculously powerful they really are. Another ridiculous moment is Tione tanking acid that instantly melted high level weapons and armor. Her skin was melted in places, revealing muscle and bone, and she still kept going as if nothing happened. One Elixir later and she was perfectly fine. By the way, ALL level 6 adventurers can solo ten thousand soldiers with EASE. They literally aren't allowed to leave Orario without permission from the Guild because just a few members of a high level Familia can wipe out an entire kingdom. This is actually a threat Loki has made before. The anime kind of nerfs some things for some reason... Like when Eina slapped Bell he reeled back, when in the novel he didn't budge. He just kinda looked at her, surprised. Here is a good example of power scaling... When you first receive Falna and become Level 1, you already are granted strength greater than 2 or 3 men. This increases exponentially until by level 4 you are starting to skirt true Demigod status. Someone like Ottarl of Freya Familia caused earthquakes just from clashing swords with another warrior in the past, while Allen of the same Familia ran so fast he created a tornado in his wake. Freya Familia and Loki Familia are comparable, so that should give a good indication of what you are dealing with.

I presume Bet's ability isnt an infanit loop since absorbed damage doesn't always mean nigated, and if it dose then he would be limited by his stamina. Also if it absorbes damage is there a limit to the amount of damage it can absorve at once.

Everything its flames touch is eaten (he beats his enemy with this part). Unlike the berserk skill of the sisters has his spell no Limit, how strong it can become. The weakness is his annoying long chant. And, that he can not move when he chant it. And, that it is more or less useless without magic to eat. And he can not move, if his wound blockade his movements

Spoiler, He would one shot it. He has already one shotted the boss of a deeper floor and higher level than the Jugglenaut. It will require a floor 70 and lower floor Juggernaut to give him a challenge, similar to how the Author had said the level 7 Zard, Ottar as a level 6 once defeated would had won against a floor 70 Jugglenaut. With another level plus 7 years worth of training, i expect the same thing can be said for him. He was known for soloing the deepest levels of the dungeon, 12 floors lower than what Ryuu and Bell is currently at, just to remove his rusts. At their current floor, Ryuu described it as even for a level 6, it requires you to have a 4 man team plus a healer if you want to travel safety, unless your name is Ottar who could kill the monsters with shockwaves and heal his stamina and mind indefinitely, anyone else will just be like additional weight for him.

Healing is magic-based, so his magic (Skadi iirc) would just devour it. Plus, the length of its activation increases the amoun and size of scars that he'll get, so using it for 10 years (if it's even possible) would possibly cover him with so much scars.

I've always thought it was awesome that Ottar was perfectly happy to take on Ais in Sword Oratoria, but when Finn stepped up to the plate for a 1v1, he backed down. Not even Ottar wants to 1v1 Finn.

Good synopsis of some of the strongest characters in the series. Although, I’m guessing that the stats are being calculated by what’s only revealed in season 3 of the anime. Finn, Gareth, and Rivera are actually level 7s not level 6s.

While theoretically uncapped I would expect if Bete took too much damage too fast the power wouldn't be able to absorb it fast enough. This would also mean that the longer it stayed active when it was doing damage to him eventually he would just explode in some type of nuclear size detonation. If he has 900 HP and takes 1000 HP of damage even with the power active he would die because the damage needs to happen for the power to absorb it from him. And similarly the damage caused by the ability may be nothing more than 1 HP, 2 HP, 3HP, etc. But eventually it would get to that 900 HP. Even if at that point he was still absorbing some of it it would still climb higher to the point of breaking and that is assuming he is taking no other damage at the time. And let's be honest if there was no limit at all he could One Punch Man the Black Dragon and Loki would order him to do it because it would mean she would win the game.

Yeah it also limited by chanting and bete durability too, Hati convert damage into power but doesn't negate the damage.

It's been a while, but I feel like I haven't seen a lot of the clips you're using - like Finn and the Loki family fighting so much. If anybody remembers when that all occurred, let me know. I think I need to take my first step into the manga/light novel world with this one and continue past the anime. Especially with how slow I feel like this season is moving. The stats stuff is awesome.

The clip of Finn fighting are from the spin off " Sword Oratoria " where it focus on the loki familia. The anime is not great, it's adaptation are very bad and confuse at worst ( even so at the last fight) but I very much recommend the manga The ottar one is also from that if I'm not remembering it wrong

I'd recommend the light novels over the manga. Danmachi's manga hasn't even gotten to season 2 of the anime and it skipped the War Games. SO manga is around volume 9 or 10 of the light novels.
