Welcome back to the channel ya kookz! Today we are reviewing the Anker Solix Portable Power Station. We have had this unit for a little bit of time before we put together this review. This awesome compact power station is small but mighty! With a 1056Wh capacity and 1800W AC outlets, this unit is more than it is made out to be.
The Anker Solix C1000 Features 6 AC outlets! This was something that I thought was overkill at first but come to find out it's actually super convenient to have all 6! It's like a portable surge protector and has the capacity to power almost anything.
We used this unit to power us through the last few festivals including Burning Man and now Moonlanding. Not only is this unit handy for having fun it's also very practical at the work site or in case of power outages. With the capability to fast charge in under 1 hour, this is in my opinion the best portable power station for this price.
Whether you are looking for backup power, a way to power your outdoor party or event, how to power your home on wheels, or all of your upcoming adventures, we highly recommend the Anker Solix C1000.

I bought the same one for charging my EMTB and it looks like it's going to be a good solution. The e-bike battery is 900 w and very slow to charge but with the Anker I can just plug the e-bike in overnight after a ride and then recharge the Anker quickly later. It should make staying out for multiple days and multiple rides on the EMTB viable.

Yeah the quick charge is a game changer. It’s amazing that it recharges in an hour. That’s a cool use for it.

One thing I just noticed today. I want to charge my C1000 off of the AC Power outlet in my truck bed for when I go camping. The outlet is rated at 400 watts. I have the power station set to charge at 200 watts so it wouldn't pop a fuse on the truck but it will not charge. The C1000 just clicks. It will charge off of the 12 volt from the car charger inside but not the AC Power in the truck bed or inside the cab.

It might need more power to bulk charge at first. Then turn it down.

Do you still diy system is better in the lifespan after 3-7years than all in one portable power station? Mainly for repai after warranty is expired and ease of repairs by customer and avoid dealing w returns or warranties limited policies as some don’t or all cover if you go camping and dust is build and fam stop working and some won’t cover that event

I agree. I just love the portability of these units. We took it to a few festivals and it is also nice to have when working so you don’t have to use an extension cord all the time. A diy system would be hard to build so sleek and compact. But yeah for a solid backup system over time I would do DIY.

@@Vankookz thanks. I may get a second panel. $500 from these guys, though. Although I checked harbor freight recently and I think they were almost $200 for a 100 watt. I’m thinking of grid down use.

Takes quite a bit of time seeing that it only charges at about 10A.
