I always found the outrage about "made up pronouns" funny. Even as an actual queer person I have never encountered anyone who uses neo-pronouns. Unironically, drag queens helped me break down some of my learned biases against certian feminine things(I would say stuff like "I'm not that kind of gay"). Later on drag kings(and other forms of drag performers) helped me, a gay man, have a better understanding of masculine(and non-gendered expression) things that I didn't allow myself to have(just as drag queens helped with the feminine things). I think a lot of cishet men would benifit from drag kings becoming mainstream and an accepted form of expression. Also, historical men's fashion maaking a comback through drag kings is exactly what men need nowadays, men's formal wear is so boring.

Someone (Bethany and Zethany) clearly missed that verse in the Bible where the Big J himself talks about how you shouldn't worry about a speck of dust in someone else's eye when you've got a plank in your own. Videos like these hit a lot closer to home for me. Christianity has given so much hope for me, my family, and so many others. I mean heck, thirty years ago my dad almost committed self-unalive, and the only thing that saved him was turning to Christ. My anxiety and depression would be so much harder to manage without faith in a greater Creator that keeps the world spinning so that I don't have to stress about it. That's why it always breaks my heart to see people like Girl Defined use it as a sword to cut down others. As a sidenote, I find it interesting that a vast majority of Christians so transphobic when Eve - the literal FIRST WOMAN IN SCRIPTURE - was created from the rib of Adam. AKA, created from the flesh of a man. So if you think about it, the argument could be made that Eve was the first trans woman, God gave our biology the ability to transition from male to female from day one. I think that if you ever gave that take to Girl Defined they would implode. Sooo...yeah. Great video, love your content, keep being awesome!

"God made them male and female" Hmmmm, as a non-binary self-proclaimed baddy, I think my existence checks out. I mean, I got testicles and chesticles and I use she/they pronouns, so who knows if God was using the singular they... and He capitalizes His pronouns. And there were eunichs, either self made or born that way and sometimes were part of religious ceremonies? I'm not too sure on my limited biblical knowledge. Also, for funsies and jokesies, it was originally Adam and Steve, Eve took the "St" out of her name so "Steve" is her deadname. God swapped out a gay couple with a straight couple where Eve is either considered trans, intersex, or both and Adam was a cishet man. Change my mind (:

@@annadarko6056 I once had this sort of conversation with a homophobic Christian and her response was something along the lines of "we're all born sinners and can only be saved by turning to Christ." And I was so genuinely confused. I guess she meant that gayness is a sin that you can just shed like a snake skin? That's so wild because while I'm not a Christian, I interpret sin to be living a life of serious crime without remorse or morals, not just wanting to bone the same gender as you lol. But why would God even create the concept of being gay if he hates it that much? Her response to that question was that God and sin are separate which boggled my mind even more because I thought he created everything...

They think that lgbt people are the enemy, therefore they not only did this to themselves but they deserve it. They don't blame god because god must be perfect. There's no way he'd make a mistake. There is no place in GDs heads for questioning that (or anything, really). Therefore it must be those peoples choice to stray from god. Even though god has a plan for everyone and is all knowing, so he knew what he was doing setting them up for failure. Even though humans have the gift of free will and choose their own path in life. The contradictions just never end.

@@fervor-craft exactly. There's even proof of how much of a dick he is in the old testament with Hiob. If God allegedly loves us all so much why did he do terrible things to him. Why would an all powerful and all knowing entity make a bet with the devil and torture someone just to prove something? The god in the old testament was way more about punishing and playing with people's lives than the new testament which seemed more about forgiveness, being less judgemental and having faith. It's almost as if those two were written by different people - very different people. Or did God have a change of heart? But that would mean he was wrong at some point.

How do they know their god didn't create lgbtq+? Who are these people to question their god's creations? Because it isn't mentioned in the bible? Not to mention the possibility of misinterpretation from the different versions and the different languages compared to the original text. The clothes are just cloth to them and as long as its fun and joyful, they love it. A girl once told a little boy in my work "oh I dont think you can wear this, it's a girl dress" while we were having dress up and play time. I told them calmly that a dress is a dress and anyone who likes it can wear it,as there's no such things as girl/boy dresses. They both looked at me and said "OK". Boy was happy in his dress and girl wore a shark costume and forgot about it. Simple. Kids only know what we teach them.

You have every right to be mad at your mom because ultimately she’s choosing bigoted beliefs over you, but if I had to guess it’s because some moderate conservatives were willing to tolerate a little difference because it didn’t effect them that much, and even though it still doesn’t, they increasingly feel left behind in a changing world. Most conservatives literally have a larger amygdala (fear center) than liberals and leftists and I imagine that fear increases as their understanding of their place in the world decreases. I have severe depression and anxiety and was religion averse becauseI associated it with cultish bigoted fanatics. It took me until revenge to accept Christ into my life but only because I was in a place where I was ready for change and was willing to commit to it. Had I been doing this if I were mentally unstable, I would’ve became the same out of touch fanatic that I loathed. God has a timing when it comes to finding him.
