She's such a good teacher. It's hard to put myself in the shoes of the contestants as someone who's been cooking his entire life, but if I were a novice and I had Anne to guide me, I think I'll be really confident.

I simply must watch this show. Would love to know how the lady whose eyes popped when Ann CRUSHED the garlic on her board made out. How do people get to be their age and not know the basics of prepping a meal. I was making Tapioca pudding when I was 6 y/o just by watching my mother. Thank you Mom.... ❤❤❤❤

I made this tonight. It was good, but the amount of dijon mustard called for in the recipe is way too much for me. It was overwhelming actually. I will reduce the amount to a total of 1 tablespoon instead of 4 tablespoons next time I make it. I love Chef Anne!

I thought it was 2 tablespoons of mustard

Salisbury Steak.. The Monday night special served at the military prison movie The Last Castle.. It's the meal mentioned, but never seen. So befitting served here on a prison mess tray.

Salsbury steak. The classic TV dinner. I have eaten so many of these it isn't funny. And i intend to eat many more before i die. Simple food that is simply tasty. And it's one of the few meals that freezes and microwaves perfectly fine.

As someone who has watched many cooking shows, here's a tip that i don't think she's mentioned. DO NOT use a hand mixer, stand mixer food processor or blender for mashed potatoes. This will over work the potatoes creating a gummy-like paste and make them gluey. Instead use a food mill, a ricer of even a fine mesh strainer
@davidbetsey24372 жыл бұрын
What's wrong with a potato masher? Duh!
@KHCoasterKid2 жыл бұрын
I've always made mashed potatoes with a hand mixer, it's never once turned into a gummy-like gluey paste ever.
@KingdomofEvania100 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t use a hand mixer to mash potatoes. They become gummy.

😎The Salisbury steak should have been prepared first . . . Cityside. Salisbury Steak should have been plated first.
