Bobby Flay should do more of these. Simple meals during COVID. TBH, I'm surprised they haven't made a cooking segment permanent.

I made this last night and it was delicious! Simple and fast. I made rice to go with it. My mother-in-law loves Bobby Flay. She suggested this after she saw him on the show and she gobbled it up, barely coming up for air.

I made this the other night and it was excellent, I used 80% hamburg, white button mushrooms and grated Romano. I wished I thickened the sauce a bit with a slurry of cornstarch and water. I had boiled potatoes with this and fresh green beans, It is a recipe where the leftovers may be better than the original meal.

Would ground turkey work?
@headmeister4 жыл бұрын
Sure would, but its pretty bland so you may need to increase the seasonings. Also, there won't be enough fat left in the pan to make gravy with because its so lean. You'll have to add oil and butter

Why do they call a fancy hamburger a steak❓
@PamelaJean5154 жыл бұрын
Because Salisbury Steak includes an egg, parmesiano reggiano cheese, breadcrumbs, cremini mushrooms, onion, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Half and Half and parsley.

It became popular during the Great Depression when people were poor and wanted a steak but couldn’t afford it. They used breadcrumbs to make their meat go further.

7/25/22: From time to time they air the Beat Bobby Flay show back-to-back and I have watched a few, but I have to admit that it gets rather boring after a while when he’s constantly winning each and every solitary competition. I mean, I literally watched five in a row the other day and he won every single one of them, including dishes he's never cooked before? Come on now, we all know the man can cook, so why air so many of his shows when the outcome is going to be the same? It’s very rare when someone else wins. Food Network PLEASE reserve some space for other shows for the public to watch? I’m now in the habit of, whenever I see his show on the roster, I quickly look to see something else ‘cause it’s boring seeing him win all the time.
