Yes. I sealed the whole table.

How often can you use the SAME brush after time - and did you sell this? If so, how much profit was made

Quality brushes can last years if taken care of (washing right after use, storing so bristles are straight etc). I did sell it and made around $50 after expenses. Hope that helps!

It was a topcoat/sealer called polyurethane. I used the water-based one (it also comes in oil based - more toxic) in the satin finish (also comes in matte, semi-gloss, and gloss). Hope that helps!
