Another Exhaust Video? Yes. Akrapovic + ECS X Pipe = F1 Sound!!!

When you think you were content with the exhaust sound, then you hear a friend's with just an X Pipe.... Man, I wanted that high pitch V8 sound. Bit the bullet and got the ECS X Pipe even though it is like double the weight of the Akrapovic Resonator. I took it to my local exhaust shop and they installed it. The last clip at the end of the video is my current setup with Magnaflow HiFlow Cats welded into the JHM DPs to reduce smell and promote longterm healthiness.
Audio was recorded with an iPhone 13 Pro and my dashcam. Still to come, I'm going to record exterior clips with the GoPro and Rode VideoMicro Compact.

Sounds Perfect!! Thanks for posting. I’m still figuring out my combination but that’s the sound I want!! Is it too loud for daily driving? And how much drone do you have? I just ordered the JHM downpipe and X pipe combo, then was thinking ECS X pipe to stock rear mufflers. (for now)

With the valves closed, it’s considerably quieter. Compared to a normal car, it’s still loud in the cabin but you can still have a conversation. If you do that combination, you shouldn’t have any drone at all with the stock rear mufflers.

How much hp? And did the flywheel make a huge difference?

the flywheel would probably add more torque. It feels more responsive than a normal rs5.
