To be fair, this makes a lot more sense than the Poopsie unicorn. First, making it work is simple enough for the kids in its recommend age group to do. Dump sand in flamingo, put flamingo on toilet. Done. Prepping the Poopsie is so complicated, most kids couldn't do it themselves and would lose interest before the parents finish doing it for them. On top of that - at least the flamingo isn't sexualized or fetishist. This thing is a novelty toy. You feed it. It poops. It's something small kids will find funny until they get bored with it (or spill all the sand). It's still stupid. But it's harmless, simple to use stupid.
